Of course they did, you were right.

Is this some kind of revelation? Its a 3rd string QB... if it wasnt a dumbed down version of the playbook then he wouldnt of started the season on the practice squad.

Yep, the kid played pretty well

He got jobbed by the NEW YORKS. Money, league, Manning. Betting, and other stuff.

Which interception was his fault? Bourne ran a lazy route and Goodwin tipped up a catchable ball. If the 49ers has real WRs those would have both been completions

Not to me, oak and you but some posters disagreed 🤷🏻‍♂️

No he doesn't. He played very well.

1) He made one bad throw. The other was on Goodwin.

2) The 49ers have GOT TO have the dumbest safeties in the NFL. Blown coverages EVERYWHERE ALL NIGHT EVERY f**kING WEEK.

3) Alfred Morris is now a liability. When he's in the offense becomes predictable.

Mullens should start the rest of the season.

Exum decided to run in the wrong direction.

Morris is 2 yards and a clump of poo

Looked fine to me. He would have won that game had Malcom Smith not held Barkley. One interception on him but every QB throw one here and there. He definitely does NOT look like a 3rd string undrafted QB. He's calm during the blitz. He goes through his reads. Looks a lot better then CJ.

EDIT:misspelling

He looks ok. I'm a but more impressed with him tonight than against Oakland because this was a tougher game. Came back poised after INTs which is good. He played well enough to win.
he did just enough to win, and the defense choked it away again.

I wasn't trying to say Mullens sucks with my post. But it's not like he's the 2nd coming of Tom Brady. He looks like a backup QB getting his 1st extensive playing time. There's a lot of good, but you also see some limitations which led him to be where he was before he started.

I agree. I have to remind myself that its only his 2nd game of his career also. i thought he looked confident, know where to go with the ball. His passes were crisp, on time and found the receivers in stride most of the time. He's good for this kind of offense where he can throw the short to intermediate routes. I liked that he threw a deep one even though it wasn't even close just to see the arm. I think he has enough arm to have a nice long career. The interceptions were kinda fluky so it didn't really bothered me too much. I like him more than CJ as he's quick to make a decision in the face of an incoming pressure. Like I said, it's only his 2nd game and he's still adjusting to the pace of the game. I really would like to see him start the rest of the season or at least split the last remaining games just to give him more experience. Overall, kid did alright.

it was never about him being as good as Brady. It's about him being better than Beathard, which I think he has proven pretty easily by now.

No question. Hasn't been sacked in 2 games. CJ took a bunch of unnecessary sacks.
The fact that he is even the starter is a big fat fail.

This.
Another good showing. He's got a lot more confidence than Beathard.

He should start the remainder of the season.
