No Goodwin again for Mullens against the Seahawks. I'll say a prayer for Nick. He's gonna get injured.

Is it going to be Mullens? Serious question

Yeah, Kyle going with Mullens. Article in the front page. Giving Mullens another start since the whole team played like s**t against the Bucs. Mullens wasn't the sole reason for the loss
Mullens accuracy was off against the Bucs, seems to me.

He doesn't have the arm to get the most out of Goodwin anyways . We lose out on goodwins home run threat with nick at qb.

Because that's what the fans wanted. Everyone lost their minds and crowned him for beating on the raiders. Now they get what they wanted lmao

Nick mullens undrafted free agent, practice squad starts. Regardless he was never expected to start but he flashes. Ive seen more of an upside for him than i ever did with cj who we traded up for lol id rather keep mullens keep improving he seems like he knows his mistakes and can fix them

He will have to do a lot of push ups to get up to speed on throwing deep passes.
Oakland didn't have a defence so it was a good game for him to start in. The Bucks put big pressure on him from the get go and it rattled him. Carroll would have been watching that so you betcha the Seahawk defence will come out gunning for him from the start. It is sink or swim time for him. We will see how much he as learned. He will need to be very quick and accurate out of the pocket and hopefully he will have someone different than Kittle to pass to. Pete Carroll will have Kittle marked and Mullens under pressure. Kyle better have some new tricks for Mullens and Mullens better be able to deliver on it or he will be sitting out the second half.

This is sad really.
We tear apart cj for holding the ball too long. We rip bdn for having a weak arm.
These arent starters. Period.
Full tank mode? Come on. Really? Who else are we going to toss out there?
Our season was hurt when jet went down, crushed when Jimmy went out. It was over.
We are starting 2nd and 3rd stringers all over the damn place.
Cj and mullens doing what they can to win against starters.
It sucks. But Kyle has no other choice. Put cj back in and watch him him killed, or play mullens and watch him throw no more than 15 yards.
Give it a damn rest. We are down to nothing. We bet the farm on Jimmy, he went down. These guys are backups for a reason. Give them a damn break. They just dont have the talent. Hence the term backup.

Mullens had guys open, he didn't show a sense of that third eye to escape pressure or slide at all in the pocket, he was a statue.
There were several passes where he went to the right guy but the pass was horrible. High or wide.

It was Mully's first road game. Next game will probably be worse. Might as well let the wolves have him, it's good for experience.

I don't think it is for a QB, I think they're much better off holding a clipboard than taking live fire. I think Cousins and Jimmy are good examples.
I still think CJ is the more talented QB, Mullens is probably better suited at this point, there's still hope one of them becomes a reliable backup.
