Blaine Gabbert was a spread QB that didn't have a single season as good as Rosen's freshman year. I watched a whole lot of Blaine Gabbert and he could only dream of having the sort of resiliency and top end mechanics that Rosen shows. Gabbert was mentally weak even in college and prone to often doing his stupid bunny hop when throwing against pressure, something he never grew out of in the NFL.

Josh Allen is a lot closer to Gabbert in terms of a guy with high end potential but faulty mechanics.

That comeback was horrible. Worst game I've ever seen. Who was that crappy QB falling all over the place? If it weren't for him UCLA would've scored 200 points.

i want him, but about the time the 49ers pick, he won't be there.

We aren't going to be able to draft him. Even if he doesn't go #1 we won't be drafting at 2.
