Yup, I saw that. Didn't care though because I wanted UCLA to win and I'm not even sure it would have been reversed.

Relax gentlemen.... We still have a pretty good rook with some potential... We'll just have to wait n see how this plays out. The kid impressed me personally tonight, but last time I got happy and wished for a QB it was Luck. . And look how that played and is playing out. So I'm going to enjoy watching this kid play and see how it all plays out....with that Oline he may not last all season I wish the kid well.

Three out of five stars comeback. Lots of boneheaded plays from both sides and equally boneheaded playcalling from the staffs. As far as UCLA goes, IMO Drew Olson's 2005 comebacks were much more fun.

I do think the final 3 TDs were a bit fluky, but Rosen's precision in the mid range game definitely translates well to the NFL.

Disclaimer: I'm a UCLA fan and < 50% sure I want Rosen on the 49ers.

i am one of the biggest Rosen homers on the zone and he showed up today. He was down but it didnt faze him. He kept his hopes up and was clutch in every throw in the 4th quarter. 490 yards and 4 TDs. This kid is going to be a great NFL QB

Trading up is always a possibility. Jumping from 7-10 to a top 5 pick isn't a ridiculous though, especially for a potential franchise QB.

It was an impressive comeback especially with the way he started but there was a bunch of luck involved(which of course you need in comebacks like this) he helped himself showing off intangibles people love. Nobody wants to see a QB sulk and give up after a bad start but as with Darnold and Allen, it's just week 1. Need to see the whole year play out.
