So far not really impressed. IMO he needs to stay one more year to work on some mechanics, but I think he's already checked out in his mind that he's going pro.

It shows on his face. One thing I hate is how he pouts towards his WR's and TE's when they drop a pass, etc.

What? Lol

There's too many Baalkes on this forum....

Like I wanted to just disagree with everything but that the mechanics thing pretty much triggered me.

Okay the A&M game and last year too there were a few games where he shows up his Wr's on the field with his body language. I have heard it plenty of times and seen it. It's as if he lacks poise at times. For me a QB with his skill set, that's an area where he needs to work on.

Yes he is refined, plays in a pro-style offense, and he has above average football IQ for the college level. He is a pure-pocket passer and can deliver all the throws necessary in the NFL and has an above-average arm. Reminds me of Goff. Both were tall slender QB's.
Those damn shoulder surgeries too.

Lol okay my bad working on mechanics was a bad choice of words but he has a lot of improvement to be made.
Maybe it's because his team sucks and his WR's drop a lot of passes. They did bail him out there i the second half vs A&M.
But as an example today's game the pick 6 he threw. Lost his poise and made a huge mental errror. But hey happens to the best.

I want to see how he performs the rest of the year under adversity.

Seems like ucla lack of team causes him to do that.. He definitely looks the part with his mechanics.

Just had another bad throw. WR possibly saved a pick.
And bounces back with a nice back shoulder TD lol.

His attitude does need a little adjustment. But if he's losing his s**t at a WR for dropping a pass I don't care. I've seen Rivers, Brady and amanning do it multiple times. A true competitor is not a negative for me. Someone drop the Mike Singletary clip.

Will still take it over the aww shucks attitude.
All I know is I will be a happy guy if the Niners get this kid. I like Darnold too but Rosen is easily #1
Nice 99 yard drive he gets the ball out so quick very decisive

While I agree. I do see Darnold as a higher ceiling player than Rosen. But both should be fantastic Pros
