Jim Mora Jr. Is the head coach. Don't expect much from a team with that d!ckwad as a coach anywhere on the staff. But, yeah... There were a few headscratchers in there.

Yes. Without question is upside is FAR better than what we have now.

You can't say that, we don't know what we have with Beathard yet.

Actually I can. And I did.

Both Rosen and Darnald are miles ahead of Bethard when it comes to actual talent. Not saying Bethard will fail but, you just have to watch all 3 in college and its not even close

Rosen is a far better prospect than Beathard was coming out. As much as people want to make Beathard happen the odds are that his NFL ceiling is basically Brian Hoyer. A career backup and spot starter.

Beathard's numbers this preseason weren't bad...he's in the top 2-3 of all the rookie QB's in terms of production across the board with NFL coaching. You guys are way too caught up with 1st round prospects to actually see that he has a bit of unpolished potential and I get the feeling KS sees the same too otherwise he wouldn't have cut Barkley or traded up to get him.

KS's love for Beat Hard is what gives me pause about him potentially being a future starter for us.

You have to stop citing preseason stats like they mean anything. Nate Davis and Blaine Gabbert had pretty preseason numbers. There is a limited amount of data to extrapolate from going up against 3rd and 4th stringers playing in vanilla schemes.

He clearly showed in that third preseason game that he is a long ways away in terms of starting ability. If he develops into a starter, great, but nothing he showed makes me believe that you pass up on a much higher level prospect in the hope that Beathard is anything better than an average game manager type.

Seriously? You are really using preseason numbers? I think you should use the eye test. Which QB has the better arm and better mechanics.

No one is saying that he is already perfectly polished and ready to come in and dominate in the NFL. However, I doubt you would find many people that think Beathard's ceiling is higher than Rosen's
It's looking more & more like the best two college QB's are in LA...Darnold & Rosen. Josh had another great game, but it's a shame the Bruins can't play defense.

Josh literally threw the game away against an unranked team...

We'll wait and see...I think the odds are higher we go Cousins anyway.

And RGIII was a much better prospect then Kirk Cousins coming out & now RGIII is out of football and Cousins is making 20+ million a season.

That is a horrible comparison. But I give you points for trying.
