Yep, one of the greatest things about him is that even though he is getting hit so much, he still stays composed. Dude has nerves of steel. Not once have i seen him give up on a game.

Kiper/McShay breakdown of Rosen.

McShay: A lot of my questions from Rosen's injury-plagued 2016 campaign have been answered so far. UCLA can't stop anyone on defense and can't run the ball consistently. Rosen has to carry the team -- he leads the FBS in passing yards.

Kiper: You're absolutely right. Rosen has been fantastic. He has rare arm talent. There aren't many quarterbacks who can make the throws he does. He's 6-foot-4 and a little thinner than Darnold.

McShay: He has a huge arm but isn't the running threat that Darnold is, and he's not as athletic. I have been impressed by Rosen's improved accuracy, especially since he's averaging 49 passing attempts per game.

Kiper: The pre-draft process is going to be especially important for Rosen. He has been in the headlines too much for all the wrong reasons, and he's going to have to answer tough questions from coaches and evaluators. Bruins offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch has repeatedly talked up Rosen's intelligence, but teams are going to quiz him on everything. That's the NFL's equivalent of a job interview. It's a huge investment to take a quarterback in the top five.

McShay: Rosen's grade has improved slightly (92 to 93), and he has raised his draft stock -- he's up to No. 4 overall in my Top 32. If there are multiple teams picking in the top five that need a quarterback, Rosen has a chance to come off the board very early.

Kiper: The gap has closed between Darnold and Rosen at the top of my board. It's close. I think you're going to see some teams that like Rosen over Darnold next year.

Where Rosen projects in the draft
Kiper: Top five.

McShay: Top 10.
We drafting him right?
He'd be my pick if we were to draft a QB.

So you want Cousins, Rudolph, Falk or Darnold then?

Cousins...unless CJ surprises...maybe even Garappolo if Cousins gets resigned

I'm with you, I want Cousins + BPA with the 1st pick. I would be frickin shocked if Lynch could pry Garappolo away from NE. I also don't think the 49ers will get the 1st overall pick, they aren't that lucky, which is another reason I don't think they get Rosen. I doubt Rosen declares too if Cleveland has the #1 pick again.

Garappolo is the interesting party to me of the group because if NE chooses to resign him it's going to be with the promise of play time as there are already whispers from his team that he want's to play and should after sitting now for a few years and as a FA has the opportunity to look for that starting job so NE may have to use the franchise tag. So what do they do with Brady then, who's signed through 2019 at a very fair 21 million over the next two years? I know he'll be 41 next year but he's still the #1 passing QB in the league today and maybe he becomes available?? imagine CJ or another rookie sitting back and learning from him for a couple of seasons while he develops the rest of the offense. I know pipe dream but it's not completely out of left field...he is a local and lifetime 49er fan.

As of right now, NE is $5 million and some change under the cap. If they don't use that they can roll that over to a LOL $12 million next season. If they franchise Garappolo, they will kill their cap space, not to mention the list of free agents they have coming up. If they franchise Garappolo, I'd be happy to take Malcolm Butler off their hands. And are they gonna invest $40 million in their QB position and at the same time kill their salary cap? Their LT Nate Solder is about to hit the market, are they going to let him walk? Do they want Jimmy Garappolo that bad!!!

Would LOVE to have Tom Brady as a 49er for 2-3 years or whatever!!!! He gonna bring the Tuck rule with him!!!!

I think he declares either way. He knows UCLA aint going anywhere and he isnt going to spend another year of taking a beating in college because his coaches cant recruit decent lineman

Its a crazy thing going on in NE. Hard to say what happens next year. I think there is a chance they trade Brady and go all in on Garappolo, if patriots dont get far into the playoffs. They just dont look like the same patriots, mostly due to their decline in defensive play, but a mediocre season could lead to the Patriots looking towards the future.

If not, i expect them to franchise Garappolo and trade him, which i think should be against the rules. If i were Garapollo though, i would be pissed if they made me sit for another season. He isnt going to learn anymore in his 5th season sitting, that he didnt already learn in his first 4.

He wants Mayfield over Rosen but I kinda agree Cousins is a safer option.

Assuming you want to try and read my mind, in order...CJ assuming he develops, Cousins, Garappolo, Brady, Darnold, Mayfield, Rudolph....Rosen.
