QB Josh Rosen

If we do end up with Rosen, heck, whoever we have at QB we're going to have to draft gaurd and maybe center at some point. I'd like us to get a Dallas like line and a top WR group eventually. Don't get a rookie QB and throw him to the wolves. Don't even start him till we fix our interior line.

Been waiting for Walsh era offense for almost two decades. It's one reason I liked the Shanahan hire. I think Rosen could run Shanahan's offense which is a major reason I like Rosen. If we had a different HC I might like a different prospect, maybe Darnold if he cleaned up a few things but Rosen is the best pocket passer in this draft. Give this kid some weapons and a little time to learn the offense and I think he could do some serious damage. He would need better blocking though since he's not a rushing QB. You couldn't put him behind Seattle's o-line and tell him to run around like Wilson.

Well i think we should get Weston Richburg and draft a guard with one of our 3rd or 2nd round picks. Have Tomlison, Garnett, and rookie duke it out for the 2 guard spots. Maybe sign a capable free agent too who can play tackle and guard.

As for receivers, i think Gabriel is a realistic option. He isnt having the same production under Sarkisian and would probably jump at the opportunity to work under Shannahan again. Then i say we draft a WR in the 2nd or 3rd also, preferably a big bodied wideout to compliment our other wide receivers.

Only way Rosen doesn't go in the first is if owners think he will be a Kaepernick kinda off field SJW distraction. Which I don't see happening but I'm sure he has heard some rumblings from teams. For instance something like "entitled f**king millenials expect everything to be easy"

Top 5, book it. Winning is more important to 80 percent of the population. The terms SJW and Millenials are awesome when you want to degrade a whole group of people you never met in an effort to aggrandize yourself... but that's about the absolute value of any assessment of an individual the resorts to pejoratives as a substitute for thought.

I understood the first part of what you said. Then you went full pull out an encyclopedia on me.

Seems off on the last one:

Benjamin Allbright @AllbrightNFL
In addition to releasing Navarro Bowman, Niners have received and made calls about RB Carlos Hyde.

"There has been speculation that the 49ers could trade running back Carlos Hyde, but the team hasn't had any trade talks involving him and does not plan to have any, according to a team source." - Adam Schefter

http://www.foxsports.com/college-football/story/turnovers-troubling-josh-rosen-ucla-s-offense-101717

"UCLA's offense is prolific in many areas, including turning the ball over.

That has to change for the Bruins to pull out of a funk where they have lost three of four games, including a 47-30 defeat at Arizona last week during which quarterback Josh Rosen threw three interceptions and running back Soso Jamabo lost a fumble.

"We can be a lot better than we are," offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch said Tuesday. "I know that because we leave too many plays out there and we turn the ball over too much. If we could avoid those things, then we'd have a chance to have a special run, one of those runs you don't get very often."

UCLA (3-3, 1-2 Pac-12) has turned the ball over 15 times this season, which is tied for 118th in the FBS. Coincidentally, Oregon, which visits the Rose Bowl on Saturday, has the same number of turnovers. But the Ducks have somewhat offset those issues with 15 takeaways on defense, while the Bruins have five.

That equates to a turnover margin that is tied for second-worst in the nation. Those mistakes put even more pressure on a beleaguered defense, which in turn can force the offense to adopt a mindset that the only way to win is to take more chances and score on every drive."

Benjamin Allbright must be desperate for some attention.
Had a good game against Oregon today, no INTs
