I was fine with Baalke in 2011-2014 as most of us were. Didn't agree with everything he did, but I was fine. 2015 was when things became problematic, and when he made poor decisions in the 2016 off season to not remedy the gaping holes on the roster I was off the bandwagon. I always lean towards the benefit of the doubt with everyone because I'm an optimist. I want people to succeed in their work and make this team a good one. I find little pleasure in being proven right if it means the team is headed in the wrong direction. If I'm wrong, then I'm wrong and I can live with that. I'd rather the team win than be right or wrong.

EVERYBODY LOVED BAALKE ...... for ~3 years.
He did win 2011 Executive of the Year and took a perennially BAD team to three straight NFC championships and to the superbowl in his first 3 years as GM. He was widely considered one of the best ... "Trader Trent". For over 3 years any criticism of Baalke on the zone would be met with a barrage of attacks and insults
