UDFA Matt Breida RB

Breida tries too hard when he gets his few snaps opening himself up for mistakes. He's better option than Coleman. Please pay Mostert, he's the present and future. He deserves some compensation no matter what his pay status is.

They already did. He's signed for 2 more seasons.

And almost fumbled as well

This! Coleman hasn't been doing anything and Breida has shown what he's capable of. Mostert has earned the number one spot, but it should be Breida that spells him, not Coleman, unless there's something going on we're not privy to.

Breida isnt really a good pass blocker nor a good pass catcher tbh. That maybe why

Breida has a better receiving grade than Coleman this yr. Coleman has a much better blocking grade than breida this yr.
I have seen quite a few times where he just can't seem to hold on to the ball when thrown too. Coleman has dropped some but Breida has a hard time catching passes cleanly. They barely use him in the run game

Would like to see them add a pure pass catcher to the stable. Maybe that's Jet if healthy and a restructured contract.

Honestly, besides this last game where the guy leveled him I can't remember the last time Brieda dropped a pass. I think last year he went the whole season without dropping one. So I really don't know what people are talking about.

Mostert is the one that has the worst hands IMO. Coleman's drops have mainly been poorly thrown balls by JImmy.

Mostert should be the starter/Goal line

Brieda the backup/3rd down

and Coleman 3rd down.

Mosterts' hands are underrated by our fanbase. He's putting up some Jerick McKinnon production stuff in my opinion. Also he's bigger than McKinnon too.

He's had fumble-its problems in the past, but I think he's really worked on his hand strength and recieving ability - to where it's no longer a weakness when packaged together with his strengths.

Love the facts!
Coleman has been a dud this season. The only saving grace is his blocking in pass protection. Breida has been his usual unreliable self, missing at least 3 games again and for the first time having ball security issues. Mostert hits the hole the fastest and hardest, is the most explosive with many carries over 10 yards as well as a team-leading 10 TDs, and is the most dependable.

I wonder if Coleman gets more carries to prevent the defense from guessing that he is out there only to pass protect. Otherwise, Breida and Mostert seem to be better candidates for the extra carries right now.

What? McKinnon production? Mostert has 14 receptions this year and 6 last season. McKinnon had 51 and 43 his last two seasons with Minnesota.
He hasn't looked good since coming back from the injury
