They turned on TeCo quick too, same with Glinch and Staley earlier this year.

What happened to brieda the cheetah he turned into a kitten.

I think just season fatigue. He played the whole first half where Mostert didnt start getting meaningful touches til the later part of the season and Tevin was out for awhile with a injury. He did this late last season too. But thats the beauty of having so many good RBs, when one starts to slow down, the others are super fresh

Yeah I'm ok with him not getting anyone touches. He's starting to remind me of lamichael james.

As much as I like him I said the same thing. We don't need a play in the playoffs like James did us in the Super Bowl with that fumble when we were inside the 20 and would've at least gotten a field goal. So we can't trust this guy in the playoffs.....maybe next year.

It ´s just a bad period for him.
The same thing happened to Mostert. There was a period where he would just fumble every carry.

That's a bunch of crap. He has one fumble from scrimmage this season in over 160 touches. He has recovered 3 fumbles.
Prior to this season he had never more than one in any season. Nice try...
Brieda is a good player and will be fine. His problem are those freakn ankles. Even if he wasn't fumbling you don't want to be giving more than 15 touches a game and in this offense good luck. To many other options to rely on a guy who can't stay healthy and now cant hold onto the rock. Brieda will work his way back in as the running game will be huge this week and after that if they take care of business.

He needs to see the person that fixed Steph Curry's ankles.
Raheem has been balling out and tevin balled out against the vikes. Breida just needs to make the most of his opportunities. Shanny tends to go with the hot hand. Dude is still a threat to take it to the house every time he touches the ball.

I'd rather see Jeff Wilson Jr. over Breida at this point

I wouldn't mind this, actually.

Considering Wilson's game-winning catch against the Cards, we know he doesn't choke under the big stage, either.

Good call!

maybe it is a mental thing??

If we meet KC in the SB a really fast RB with game breaking speed will be needed.

Once the opposition knows you're prone they key on it every play. Breida is a smaller guy and you could see how a lineman or LB can pry it off him. He just needs to go down and not worry about getting the extra yard. Most of Breidas damage is done in the open field.

Great insight. I agree. He's just trying too hard in the playoffs. Just do your job.
Probably stop running him up the middle. Use him on some toss plays and screen passes.

Man, he's one of my favorites....wish we had room for him since he's a different back than the rest.
HOLD ON TO THE FUDGING BALL.
Oh btw....
