Mostert is the fastest RB on the 49ers. Most yards gained, most tds, most yards per carry...Breida has fumbled his way out of the rotation.

He might be the fastest but both RM and MB ran hand timed 40's so we cannot rely on that as an accurate measure. Nor is Brieda clocking the fastest time with the ball in his hand according to Next Gen Stats. It simply comes to down to one's personal opinion.

Reality is, there actual timed speeds are probably incredibly close. And both guys are fast as f**k.

Breida's lucky he doesn't have Jimmy Johnson as a coach.. I remember when Jimmy cut a very good backup RB in Curvin Richards because he fumbled twice in a meaningless game..

He did that to establish dominance and prove a point! If Emmit or Michael would've fumbled he would've gave them the rest of the day to relax.

Hoping Breida just takes the yards that are there, pops the big one off his one cut, but go down if they get to him. Protect the ball.

Honestly think he goes elsewhere come FA. He's #3 on the depth chart and we have Wilson behind him and maybe Jet too?
I bet some team offers him much more money than we can. Won't be a huge loss, but he overall did a great job here, especially as a UFA.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Jet cut in the off-season. The team will try and free up as much money as they can this off-season. I think the team will feel good going into next year with Coleman and Mostert as the top backs and I could see them drafting a running back late to compete for depth with Wilson.
