Mostert and Coleman are getting all the reps - one of those guys, would have to get hurt for him to get his reps back.

Yeah, he's been less than impressive, but I think Kyle might be also rebuilding Breida's confidence by giving him safe runs that go to the middle of the line to where if there's a fumble, good chance that a 49er might be able to recover it.

He called timeout to get Mostert back in the game instead of handing it off to Brieda....there is no confidence in him. Tried to give him the ball in close out duty vs MINN and he fumbled
Ya know, the more I think about it , I dont think Breida will be back with the team next year. He fell off a cliff after the Browns game. Didnt do much after that.

None whatsoever, think he is gone

Did he really get a chance after the browns game? He ran for 83 yards on the first play, scored another TD on a reception and still only had 11 carries and 3 receptions that game. The most under utilized weapon on the team. He must of said something about KS mother or something. I can't figure it out. This turnover talk is nonsense. He fumbled 3 times all year losing 2, one of them in a meaningless victory. Wherever He ends up he will be a great addition.

If you think about it , he had that 1 run and catch in the first quarter and didnt do much the rest of the game and it only started declining more and more from that point. Each game looked like he got progressively worse. He had that amazing start to the season but went straight ghost after that. Injuries play a huge part but he also wasnt running the same even when healthy

You can't show what you can do unless you get playing time. He wasn't injured in the browns game.
This dude never got a chance. Every time he got the ball, he performed. There's no logical reasoning for benching a guy who has play-making ability beyond plodders like Tevin Coleman.
I mean, he fumbles... a lot. He doesn't run hard. Coleman is excellent in pass pro and a good receiver when used

First off. Been ahwile. Been following mostly on face book

I hurt guys. This lose. Sucks.

That said. I think he is gone. I like wilson jr anyways.
Seeing as the team likes Wilson and has apparently lost trust in Breida, I wouldn't be surprised if they do not extend a qualifying offer to him and hope to get a comp pick out of him. If it were me, that's the route I'd go at this point. We can find another RB who can play STs like Breida was relegated to. Plenty of runners who could excel in this system.

Breida, Day, and Ward are guys that I would let walk because I think we have replacements on the team for them already (Wilson, Givens, Moore).

He had gotten plenty chances, when. Coleman was in his slump all he did was fumble and get hurt. He does , everytime he got the ball he got short gains.

If he's this deep into the dog house I think they just tender him as a UDFA and bring him back if nobody signs him. They can then keep him on the 53 (albeit possibly inactive) and bring McKinnon back to share the load with Mostert/Coleman.
Really crazy about how this guy tailed off. He must have been hurting. I think he comes back 100% next year. No fumbles.

Is he an RFA? Can we trade him?
