Same here. Even though Coleman has been solid last season, I'm willing to roll with everyone else. I like Breida's and Wilson's upside.
Is there a cap hit if we trade him for a 3rd or 4th?
The way he's talking he's not getting traded based on his tweet
Good
Lmaoo soo we keep 5 running backs on the roster. Yep sounds like something they would do
What's the point of keeping so many running backs when Kyle isn't going to use them when it matters most?

I mean the way our offense is and how easily backs get hurt I'm not surprised.
Depending on whether Brieda's either in or out of Coach's doghouse, his future as a Niner could be brief. He's arguably the best trade prospect on the team, save maybe Mullens. Kinda also depends on what opportunities Lynch gets during the draft to acquire more picks in rds 2-5. Breida could be part of a trade package in that regard.
If we only had 2 running backs active last year which is common to most teams, we were not able to reach Super Bowl. Of course it is not 100 percent accurate science but because we managed to keep at least 4 of them they were able to keep themselves fresh and healthy during the playoffs where we didn't have to pass the football.
Kyle's got this.

We're not keeping 5 running backs. There's still a chance that they trade Brieda and if they don't his contract is non guaranteed this season. Meaning nothing wrong with throwing a horde of capable running backs out there and letting the best man win. Competition isn't a bad thing. If that means Brieda isn't traded and doesn't make the cut then no biggie, his contract is non guaranteed anyways.

After the injury history these last few years who is really going to complain about quality depth (and it's cheap).

our fans lol
The contract isn't guaranteed apparently so they can still cut or trade him. I actually like Breida better than Mostert, but I have to admit it is mostly an aesthetic thing. There is something about Mostert's running style that seems a little hinky to me. I think he benefits a lot from the holes the line creates in that zone scheme they run and is able to use his speed to exploit them to good advantage but I don't think he is a particularly elusive runner. There was a play Breida had against Cincinnati that was designed to go outside to the left but was all clogged up so he cut it back to the middle, where there were guys waiting and he juked a couple of them right out of their shoes and turned the run into a long gain. Mostert would never have been able to make that run, he seems more like a straight line type of back to me Not sure why Breida ended up on the sidelines at the end of the year unless it was that string of fumbles he had. Hopefully he will get his mojo back this off season and training camp, assuming there is one, and help make a contribution this year

It's to get us through the season. Once the playoffs start look at the roster and you'll see who matters.
