saw a Philly vlog on youtube today where he heard a rumor that Phiily turned down Pettis for Rasul Douglas. And the 49ers turned down Rasul for Breida.

Rather see Coleman go, or even Wilson or McKinnon, who can't seem to stay healthy. Breida needs to prove he can hold onto the ball and work on his receiving skills to elevate his value. God knows he's fast and can run the ball.
We can trade Breida for something less than that if we want to. For example if Tampa Bay came along and said we will give you a 4th round pick for him we can accept that if we like.

So you never know, I think we actually need him. Having backs with different skillsets and speeds can really help us keep defenses honest.
So we need 4 active rbs on the roster ?? Thats ridiculous
Or 3 Qb's

Running backs get banged up a lot, so if there was one position I wouldn't mind carrying more of it's the RB position. Especially for a Kyle run offense that relies so heavely on the run. Also it keeps everyone fresh and limits the chances of an injury. But I would still trade one of them if the right offer came along. I wouldn't just give one away.

Sounds ridiculous yes but injuries forced us into needing 4 backs last year.

Dude wasn't very good once he got benched. Couldn't protect the ball. He was basically Goodwin of the WRs. He isn't needed anymore.

He handled the pressure the opposite of how Mostert did. I remember Mostert had an issue with fumbling the previous season and then he worked on protecting the ball and became one of our most reliable backs. I don't know what happened, and I feel like he should have got more play then f**king Coleman. Especially after coming back from the injury.

Yeah because Breida played soo good lol they tried to give him carries in the falcons game but ge fumbled , same in a few other games. Dont blame that sht on Coleman, when Breida was the awful one. He literally didnt do crap since week 6 against the browns. Coleman was well on his way to having a great postseason. He got the start against Minnesota and what happens?? He ran and fumbled his way out of playing time

I was rewatching a couple of the early season games from last year and i still don't understand how Breida fell so far out of good standing with Shanny. I know he had issues with some untimely fumbles later in the season, but it was never anything that was game deciding. I still think he's a good back that has his best plays ahead of him.

^^^no such thing in Kyle's vocabulary as fumbles, untimely or otherwise. There's your answer to your own question.

What's the reason Jimmy G hasn't fallen out of favor then?

An injury prone, so-so rb is a little bit different from a franchise qb.

If we can get a 4th round pick for Breida, I would be all over it. Breida has been good here, but he is gonna be a FA after this coming season, and I doubt we will pay him what he could probably get as a FA, thus his value to us is better as a trade piece right now, especially with the depth we currently have at it.
If we were to trade Breida for a 4th, I wouldn't even mind us looking to add a RB in this draft. After this coming season, McKinnon+Coleman will be URFA's, and Wilson will be a RFA, so we'll need some RB help.
