the coaches were like us.. heart attack when coleman got hurt cuz that meant if mostert got hurt this guy would come in and he could not hold onto the ball. glad we got what we got for him

The injuries pile up and it probably affected him mentally. He's a good player though so I see him rebounding in Miami.

Both Miami and Niners made out in this trade.
Breida will see a lot of playing time there.

of all the excess we had with pettis goodwin cj and matt... i knew the highest pick we could get out of any of them would be this guy. i just fell out of love with him because i would not trust him to hold onto the ball. we got three good ones left. whatever we get from mckinnon is gravy and something tells me.. at least one of the undrafted guys will end up with us and turn out at least as good as wilson.. who we need to play more especially catching out of the backfield

miami and we have a history of helping each other out with running backs... delvin williams for freddie helped us both.. terry kirby saved our bacon and now this is good for both teams

Agree
I can't recall where I read or heard it that they may try to groom Colton McKivitz as a Guard.

Yup. I love the fact that we got a 5th rounder out of an undrafted free agent. That's pretty darn impressive if you ask me. If Kyle can consistently get one or two of these deals every year or two, that will help offset drafting late in the first round every year.

Yeah, good luck, Matt - you were a good Niner.

Hell if we can keep finding gems in the late rounds and UDFA scrapheap like the last few years

I think this UDFA class is better than last year's.

Very nice! The only negative is that this years squad is so deep, UDFA's are going to have a tough time making the team. Which is a good thing, not a bad thing. I'd love to see both UDFA running backs make the team so that guys like Wilson and Coleman can be used as trade bait. (long odds of that happening of course) but that's the kind of things we've been seeing from ShanaLynch since they have been here. For example Azeez was a surprise. He played very well when Kwon got injured and he's Undrafted. Emanuel Mosely - another undrafted played very well for us last year. Another place they have been doing well is the 5th round for some reason - Kittle and Greenlaw have been great players at the 5th round. That's a great round to get starter material for sure.
