Dude would have been a top RB prospect in the draft if his idiot coaches didn't totally change the offense in his final season. The previous season, the dude had all-world rushing stats.
Ready to move on from Hyde dude is made from Papier-maché. He will never be able to tote the rock 20+ times per game. Too Fragile.

Hope we can trade him before the trading deadline so we can get something in return b4 he leaves via FA next offseason.
Big fan of Breida

Does he supplant Hyde as the starter by seasons end??

glad they're giving him more touches. Came close to breaking some long ones yesterday.
I remember Hyde's first season, where he'd run with 0 patience and look for people to try and cannonball over. Looks like all that uncontrolled aggression caught up to his body

That's funny because he's about to earn himself a contract extension. If Breida keeps running the way he has then we're not going to have to worry about Hyde carrying the entire workload. Breida is a nice complement to Hyde. I've said this from day 1, Breida is the better back than Williams. Williams was a waste of a pick.

Hydes hip flared up, which is the reason why he had more snaps. It had nothing to do with Hyde getting phased out as the starting back. There's also reports of Niners trying to extend Hyde's contract.

Didn't Hyde say it was a coaches decision and he felt heathy enough to play?

What'd he have like 8 carries for 11 yards? I'm pretty sure he wasn't okay.

I'm pretty sure Hyde knows more about his health than anyone on here...
I am down for signing Hyde to an extension, if the money is right, and it's front loaded, in the sense that his first 2 years are fully guaranteed and that we don't have to give him a signing bonus due to guarantee his first 2 years of his deal. He also would need active roster bonuses tied in there, so if he's not active, we're saving some money. I like Hyde, and Breida is showing he's worthy of being on the roster. So many people here throwing Williams out like he's trash. Williams has extreme upside, and his injury is nothing right now, so he's basically getting a red shirt, and learning the system, all the while not taking a beating on his body at all. In a throw away season, I'm fine with Williams red shirting, and coming back next year fighting for the back up job to Hyde with Breida, may the best man win, and the loser becomes 3rd string.
