I want Hyde next season. With a real oline. He's acting like he'll take a paycut. If he was part of a one two punch with a real back we might have something. Brieda is good but he's a 2 at best. I just don't think it's hard to find better

Yeah, I want Hyde, too. If we were in position in the draft to take Barkley, I could see not re-signing Hyde. But, drafting #7, I don't think he'll be there. I'd be very content on signing Hyde to something like 5yrs/$25M. I think that'd be something he jump at.

Up until the garbage time td he was 10 for 44. Still a good game regardless . 3 yards a carry with jimmy g at qb. So I hope he gets a full game for evaluating vs the rams. You can't put him above Hyde over one garbage time 30 yard td run.
Sounds like Shanny has them at about the same level anyways though. Breida does have some much needed explosiveness, and he's super cheap right now.

Shouldn't have said garbage time. But it was one play. Was a huge one though. All I'm saying is look at his play the entire season, don't draw a conclusion from one play.

People forgot how effective Hunter was. Too bad his injury ended his career. Wouldn't you want consistency over having one great game? One good game doesn't define a career.
No knock over Breida, I like him. Hope he continued to progress.

he sucks at blocking but makes for a decent #2, change of pace back. no way in hell he's a #1 RB.

Too long of a contract. 3 years for 15 mil should get it done.
He's still 25, 5 years is just about right.

26 actually, but yeah, I'd like to see Hyde back too, especially hearing how positive he is about being here. 5 years though is on the long side for an RB of almost any age. But I'm sure Paraag could make it team-friendly.
