The patience, the high knees, the soft hands on receptions.

Sorry for the sacrilege but it was fun to see.

Maybe the style but not nearly the strength and power of Craig.

Nice COP back. He will continue to be a good #2 to whoever winds up as the top back.

Breida should be a keeper. Completely agree with him being a solid number 2 back. I would really like to see him shore up his blocking, but he has been nothing other than solid this year. That is more than you can ask from quite a few #2 backs in this league.

Quite enjoyable that the Niners now have a coaching staff and management group in place that can recognize young talent for what it is. If a player is doing well, they need to be on the field. Draft position or contract should not matter. It is all about what happens on the field.

They way Kyle runs his offense it is almost like there is a 1a and 1b as opposed to a #1 and #2. Both are capable but just a little bit different.

I like Breida behind Hyde. Hyde has more power. Breida has more speed.

And they both show a knack for finding the hole. I think that is what has surprised me most with Breida. He's an undrafted guy but he just has that ability to find the hole and make the cut. I really like what I have seen from him. I sincerely hope he can continue this moving into next year.
Give this guy an extension and a raise!

This is precisely why I don't want Barkley. Kyle's/Turner's niche is finding unique guys that specifically fit their run game. With Williams coming back, dump Hyde and grab one more guy they really like in the mid-late rounds.

Hmmm. I was told McCaffrey would've been a better pick than Solomon Thomas at #3 so this is confusing.

I think Hyde won't be re-signed...with Joe Williams coming back, he & Breida are two good ones. I'd love to see Lynch grab Michel in the draft...he looks perfect for Coach's offense. With OL, edge rusher being high priorities, not sure where JL would go RB. If they go BPA, Sony Michel could get a serious look...he's that good.

Sony Michel is gonna kill it somewhere. Any GM who drafts him is gonna look like a genius.
I would not be surprised if they rolled the dice with Breida-Williams, and then either add a big back (Bo Scarborough) or a guy who is a good pass catcher (Ito Smith) later in the draft. Saving the earlier picks for CB, OL, LEO, and WR.

I'd be surprised . We're no longer in "let's see what we got" mode. We're in championship mode now. Gotta get as good as we can in every position. And Williams/Breida would be risky as hell. Who knows if Williams can mentally make it through a season.
It seems like many of the posters here are unaware that there was also a running back on the roster named Jeremy McNichols. He was signed after training camp. I think they have kept him all year for a reason. I expect that he will be in the mix in 2018.
