lol..
Breida is going to have a roll on this offense and will be an important guy on the team. I can see him getting 8-12 touches a game

In case anybody needed a reminder. This is a highlight tape of an UNDRAFTED ROOKIE in his ROOKIE YEAR.

Matt Breida is a certified beast.

i was glad we kept him, he's a great 3rd down back. can catch and make guys miss, and doesn't fumble. what more do you want from a backup? glad he's on the team.

Mackinnon going to have a tough time keeping Breida and Williams from taking carries.

If he doesnt improve on that career rushing average, he is going to be taking a back seat on carries quickly and become that career third down back he has always been.

Dont sleep on this kid and Williams.

I don't get this post at all. You are saying that Breida and Williams being good enough to share the load at RB is a bad thing? That would be the dream scenario, as they would all be fresh throughout the year. The only snipe in your post I disagree with is the 3rd down back only stuff, but that is a sword that the anti McKinnon folks always unsheathe.

Have you even seen his career stats as a runner bro? LOL.
This is like day one of FA all over again...

Certainly dangerous in space but he has a tendency to go down on first contact too frequently to be considered your top backup. It's why I think Williams has a shot to unseat him behind Mckinnon.
Gotta love an UDFA who works his butt off to get a roster spot

Breida & Bourne are easy to root for

Agree, nice to see some lunch pale type guys, that put in a days work.
I'm a fan of Cheetah Breida, but for him to take a Sophomore leap he has to be better and breaking tackles this year... lot's of shoe string tackles on him last year

All I care about is yards per touch in today's NFL...the jet avg 5.1 yards YPT over his career. I like Breida a lot as well.

Williams needs to learn how to play STs in order to make the team IMO.

LOL. Dude, i cant tell if this post is serious or not....Now we are going to start to talk about YPT and totally ignore his rushing statistics?!?!?! LOL. I cant. I just cant.

Williams will not play ST likely, and he is still a lock for the roster unless he goes full Barber in preseason. He is the most talented runner on the roster. Period. Look for Mackinnon to lose touches to both Breida and Williams as the season goes on, and Williams seperating to show he is the best runner on the roster.

Mackinnon is a career third down back. Period. I dont care what system he is in. He is not a great runner.

It's like your stuck in the 1990s...Le'Veon Bell avg 4 ypc last yr and he's making what $14+ million a yr no? Fournette Avg 3.9 ypc last yr so he's a horrible RB?

End of the day I'll take someone that's gonna get 1,200 yards from scrimmage. It's a passing league.

Maybe williams is a great runner doesn't matter if he can't do the other things required of a RB (especially in Kyle's scheme). That's why he lost out to a UDFA because he's lacked the other skills (PP, holding onto the ball, and catching the ball),

Hey I hope he shows up and rocks out...I want any 49er to do well. I'm not gonna hold my breathe though.
I'll add I don't think McKinnon is the next Faulk or anything but Kyle and Bobby clearly wanted him so I'm not gonna hate on it until I see the product
