LOL. Dude, i cant tell if this post is serious or not....Now we are going to start to talk about YPT and totally ignore his rushing statistics?!?!?! LOL. I cant. I just cant.

Williams will not play ST likely, and he is still a lock for the roster unless he goes full Barber in preseason. He is the most talented runner on the roster. Period. Look for Mackinnon to lose touches to both Breida and Williams as the season goes on, and Williams seperating to show he is the best runner on the roster.

Mackinnon is a career third down back. Period. I dont care what system he is in. He is not a great runner.

It's like your stuck in the 1990s...Le'Veon Bell avg 4 ypc last yr and he's making what $14+ million a yr no? Fournette Avg 3.9 ypc last yr so he's a horrible RB?

End of the day I'll take someone that's gonna get 1,200 yards from scrimmage. It's a passing league.

Maybe williams is a great runner doesn't matter if he can't do the other things required of a RB (especially in Kyle's scheme). That's why he lost out to a UDFA because he's lacked the other skills (PP, holding onto the ball, and catching the ball),

Hey I hope he shows up and rocks out...I want any 49er to do well. I'm not gonna hold my breathe though.

Good post!

I'll add I don't think McKinnon is the next Faulk or anything but Kyle and Bobby clearly wanted him so I'm not gonna hate on it until I see the product

Good assessment!

I think KS will use him very creatively and maximize his talents.

yeah some people just can't accept change

McKinnon is not in Minn anymore
I love how Breida comes in late and runs by the gassed D for chunks. He's going to break some for house calls this year!
Breida better not look back, Williams is coming up on him fast...

Until Williams fumbles the ball...again

It's not clear yet whether Williams has even surpassed Mostert for a spot. If Williams doesn't contribute on ST, he'll probably be gone.

I'm not sure who's worse, Idaho being anti-McKinnon or Jack being anti-Garoppolo.

prove it, tell us why Jimmy should be our starting QB over Cousins, Beathard, Case Keenum, A. Smith, Sam Bradford - all players available to the 49ers this last off-season.
I'd love to see KS put all 3 of them on the field at once.
Kyle said Breida will be out a while with a shoulder injury. Ugh, that hurts

Definitely bad since it happened on a block pickup against a DL. We really need Joe Williams to come through. Our RB's are too small.
A chance for Joe Williams, Mostert, and McNichols to seize the opportunity.

This might actually work in our favor. I still don't trust having 2 small backs in one backfield. Having 1 or 2 big boys can help wear out a defense. McKinnon wont be able to shoulder a 25+ carry per game load.
