He showed pretty well with the opportunities he was given. I think he can be a third down change of pace for Morris.
Should've been our starter from the get go after last season... but we went out and gave alot of money Jerik.

Thus no competition was going to happen for the starting job. I personally felt we screwed him.

Oh well it's your time Matt.

Screwed an undrafted player in his second year by not handing him the starting job? That seems like a major stretch. The guy hasn't been able to play this past month, either.

SCREWED HIM BY NOT GIVING HIM AN OPPORTUNITY TO FIGHT FOR THE STARTING ROLE. YEAH!

He did his part last year.

Dude went from possibly being inactive week 1 to now being crucial.
Yea i think his pass catching will push him up over Morris at times. Especially when we our down

A "huge step forward" for Breida would put him in the pro bowl. Dude is legit and proved it last year. He could start for other teams, don't get it twisted.

Whatever plans Kyle had for Jet, I think Breida can be plugged in. Maybe Breida isn't as agile as Jet but they seem similar enough. Breida has shown to function running outside zone and as a pass cather. I'll try to post some of those runs where Breida came close to busting an explosive gain.

Better run blocking this year should help.
Breida 🙏
The injury to McKinnon may result in Richie James Jr. filling in on occasion at RB, especially on passes out of the backfield. He's a versatile kid and very explosive.

That's a good point. There's a lot of video of him doing just that in college and making plays.

James doesn't have the desired effect on the defense that McKinnon has. If an opposing DC sees Richie James coming on the field, good chance they're going nickel/dime and covering him with a DB.

But if McKinnon is on the field, it's difficult for DCs to match up because they must decide whether to stay in base to defend the run and have a LB on McKinnon if they pass or nickel and Kyle runs 21 personnel OZ down their throat.
