he has shown promise

Matt Breida wasn't some scrub that got lucky because he got matched up with a great coach. He was a first round talent. One of the top 3 RBs with Fournette and cook.

Over 8 yards a carry. Over 3000 yards. And 35 TD his first two years. About a 4.4 40. Solid receiver. Great runner. Good vision. He's got it all. He just f**ked up his final year in college. Coaching was awful. His draft stock plummeted and he was completely forgotten in a legendary RB class.

Here he is vs the best defense in the nfl. It's very likely that Breida was gonna be better for us than McKinnon all along.

Breida is strictly a backup at this level. He will end up getting Jimmy g killed if he's counted on as a bell cow RB, especially in pass protection. Thank God we signed alf when we did.
