It is all about blues music with my handle. To me I find the music exhilarating, not depressing.

He definitely got better towards the end of last year, so hopefully he can continue that trajectory.

Breida weighed in at 5-9 195 at his pro day last year.

So the FO should speed up their process and go all in with their rebuilding capital to please a handful of old fans?

Way to twist that s**t around quick to fit your narrative..
Didn't say that.

I Have said many times there's a balance.

They've brought in how many receivers the last two years and how many ER's?

That's one example..
I can go on.

Yeah, but that's the sins of Jed and his trust of Baalke, not John Lynch or Kyle Shanahan. They've had 2 off-seasons to fix the absolute train wreck that was here before.

I get it, after all the great years we had for so long we've had 6 years of losing football, 3 great seasons and then years of losing football again.

While I understand the dislike of waiting as much as the next guy I also understand that in 2017 it was a complete, ground up reboot. The last time this happened was 2005 when Mike Nolan was brought in as coach and GM. Since then it was progressive moves but not house-cleaning and reboot. We fired coaches but the GM stayed the same. When Baalke was officially promoted to GM he had been the interim for a while so it wasn't like a true changeover and then we hired Harbaugh. Then, we all know what happened from then.

This was a complete roster and coaching staff and FO turnover. That was only 20 months ago. They've found 18 new starters(19 if you include a 3rd WR as a starter for a total of 23 starters) in 20 months. That's a HUGE amount of turnover. To expect each and every one of those starters to be top tier in 20 months is absolutely ridiculous and unrealistic.

While I get not wanting to be patient we have no other choice. We can't heap the failures of Jed and his previous hires upon ShanaLynch. If you want someone to blame, take it up with Jed who said after he fired Harbaugh that the fans could hold him personally accountable.

I absolutely agree. I am a long term fan, long enough to realize this process, if done properly, would not be a quick fix. Quick fixes are great if you are looking for short term success. I want another period of time where we are in the conversation among playoff teams for years, not one or two years. That requires building through the draft. It sucks to wait even longer than we have but I see the process as arrow up over all. I have been a fan since 1971, seen the ups, and many downs. We need an ER, and more depth at some key positions. We aren't there yet,but to say this was the most completely depleted 49er team I have ever had the misfortune to witness prior to the new FO coming in would not be hyperbole. We sucked ass. Turning over the entire team was, and is, a herculean task.

And wide receiver is stronger now than it was a year or two ago. As are other areas of the team as they build this roster up. Edge rusher will get addressed, they understand the importance but to date the market has not been favorable for edge rushers so they have built up other areas of concern and importance.

Nice.
Don't sleep on Breida. He's about as fast and quick as McKinnon. Go look at their workout numbers. Not as strong, and probably needs more experience route running and catching the ball to be at McKinnon's level.

Replacing the Jet will give him a ton of experience on top of what he got last year.
