RIP to his career. Has been the most overrated player in the league since being drafted

LOL

Dude was supposed to be the next great QB and has been anything but that. There's 3rd and 4th round QBs that are better than him

Who the hell cursed him and RG3 lol... Crazy ass first years, RG3 has been dkne for a min and Luck MIGHT be a superior Chad Pennington 2.0 ? Alex had a shoulder surgery but came back from it like a G.

Luck will be fine...had his surgery Mid Jan...they knew the timeline for recovery was going to be close to a year even though they pushed to get him back earlier. It's not like they had the team or coaching staff to set him up for success anyway, this offseason is going to be big for them...

Sounded like its not recovering right.. Not spreading rumors or anything, i wouldn't be shocked if he has to have a follow up surgery.

And if you put whoever those 3rd and 4th round QBs who are better than Luck on the Colts instead of where they currently are, you would be saying the exact opposite.

Why people cant see that Luck has been a 1 man team since he left Stanford is beyond me.

He needed a Tom Moore to come alongside him and nurture him to the next level as he did with Peyton Manning. Instead, he was forced to rely on his own athleticism and prior experience, and that has proven to be insufficient.

Personally, I believe Harbaugh was over-rated as a QB mentor. We saw that with Kaepernick who made little progress after he came out of college. Luck, though highly rated coming out of Stanford, has been a repeat of Kaepernick. He is still the same guy. Still throws too many picks. Takes too many sacks. Does just not have the polish he needs to combine his athleticism package with polished game management.

Best thing for him would be a different environment where he can have the support around him that he needs to regain his confidence and learn how to play the game with his head as well as his arm. Pagano is a defensive coach and obviously struggles getting the right mix of offensive coaches around him to make things work.

*end of rant*
I just think that if Luck played the role of a game manager, his team would get crushed. He plays the way he does because he has to. He cant rely on simply playing field position because his defense sucks. When his team takes the lead, he cant rely on running the clock because he has never played with a good running back.

He is the epitome of a one man team. And one thing I have always believed is it is easier to manage a game successfully that carry an offense with your arm. I dont feel like Luck needs to learn how to be a game manager. He simply does not have the luxury of playing that way if he wants to have a chance to win the game.

Might need another surgery, Grigson knew he was hurt and signed him anyway. Contract has no injury provision.

this. that team has very little talent on defense, and that OL seems like it's bad every year.
Irsay is picking fights with him now saying "it's all in his head." That sounds like a Dr talking through Irsay. No one wants their shoulder to work right more than A. Luck. You can believe that. If I had to guess, we will hear about another surgery to "clean it up" before it's over.
Career over

I guess that term has become so abused that the true meaning of the word is obscured.

In Luck's case, he needs to learn when to throw the ball away rather than force it or take a sack. That is the part of his game that needs to change. That is a critical part of managing the game situationally.

It is clear Pagano will be gone, or should be gone, after this season. He has no seeming feel for offense at all. I feel sorry for Luck and for Gore playing for what is becoming a franchise that rivals Cleveland for clown management.
Sucks.. feel bad for the kid

If he's done do you think colts will want Darnold or Rosen ? Or stay with Brissett ? Another team to trade with if so..
