I also expect Browns and Giants to go all in QB.

If the Colts dont protect their qb it wont matter who it is.

I know what you're saying but the main point is it SEEMS Luck may possibly never bounce back from this. They're in a position to land a top QB... If I were them you gotta believe they gotta take on in the first or 2nd as insurance.

They spent a 2nd on Brissett who showed a great deal of potential. I bet they ride it out with the qbs they have now.

I say Indy could take a QB in the 2nd or 3rd round depending on who's left. There's no way the pay Luck's contract and a 1st round QB rookie.

Right, if Luck can't go at least they have an acceptable fall back option with Brissett. I'm not sure what his ceiling is (certainly not what Jimmy's is), but he showed some good things in his playing time this year.
Can't see Colts moving on from Luck. He's their only chance at making the playoffs . Without him they're one of the worst 3 teams in the nfl. Sounds like he got some European stem cell treatment. Should be good to go, that s**t is a miracle worker. They need to fix some of their major holes, not give up on their franchise qb.

Jacoby had some good moments but I think you're giving him too much credit. He only won 4 games and against the other worst teams in the nfl . Cleveland , no Watson Texans, and no jimmy niners.

That would be a crazy move from a gm on his first year there to plan on shipping out Luck instead of adding help for him.

Would you draft a qb and plan to move on from him if it were upto you?

Jacoby is a good Prospect when you consider everything he had going against him in Indy from no Offseason to incompetent coaching, a porous Oline and limited talent surrounding him.

Not sure he can be a bust when he is a 3x pro bowl QB who lead the league in TDs in 2014. Injuries aren't his fault.

Yea definitely was delt a s**tty hand. He's far too inconsistent for me to consider a "fall back" option though. Way too many games where he gets completely shut down. Including in NE.

Edit: there were some ridiculous drops from his receivers though, he needed all the help help he could get and there were so many drive ending drops.

Depends on whose there. If it's Darnold or Rosen I think you gotta pull the trigger. If its Mayfield or Allen they'd have to have a solid offensive minded HC/OC.

With that being said I can see Ballard thinking hes not in a position to draft a QB with a last minute HC that's barely in the process of hiring one to begin with.

I don't think you can say he's legit franchise potential. Now if a QB is there at 3 they love you have to think they just might have to consider. Though now with the HC bonanza, they might be in no position to take one.

Really hope Luck comes back healthy and they can get an offensive minded HC like Frank Reich. Luck is super fun to watch.
