This is what you call CYA cuz Luck was still activated in time not to miss the first 6 weeks but isn't starting yet. HC trying desperately to save his ass. Chuck Pagano is the Trent Baalke of HC's or maybe his former GM was just the other Trent Baalke. Same difference I guess.

Is he too damaged to think about trading for him next year ? If the niners are top 5 in the draft would if be crazy to trade the pick for Luck and the colts grab 1 of the kids ? Just a thought and wondering opinions..

Would absolutely do this if this highly unlikely scenario presented itself.

Pretty obvious, new GM Chris Ballard is "undercover tanking" this year. Assuming Luck is going to be fine, can you imagine the haul the Colts would get if they are bad enough to have a top 3 to 5 pick.
He probably convinced Irsay that the Colts need a high draft choice to get a blue chip OL/DL which they badly need.

I doubt that's the case. I think Luck shoulder might be worse than originally thought. That would suck for him with all that talent.

FTFY.
If there is one NFL team I can stomach Harbaugh going to, it's the Colts.
That would be a highly likely scenario. Maybe not next year unless Michigan wins the Championship.

Harbaugh won't go to Indy unless they can Ballard. Hell want Lombardi with him.

I just want to know if he'll be playing the Niners on October 8th.

Wow. If I were
Andrew Luck, I'd say, "
Trade me or I'll retire."
The Colts make the 49ers look great. That is one dog-with-fleas-and-pinkeye-w/-a-3-broken-legs of a franchise.
At least the Niners aren't the Colts.

Been like that since Manning also. A Franchise just wants the QB to just carry the entire team.

I think their DUI owner is actually running the team, and the GM is a yes man. It's the only explanation I can think of.

Luck should be in no hurry trying to get back after that abomination today

I hope the ridiculous opinion that Luck ISN'T a one man team starts to go disappear after today. My goodness.
