Jerry would be dumb to pay him. Pay Cooper, pay Zeke, keep that OL good, and they can sign me to play QB and they will win at least 8.

I wouldnt give Dak more than 20 mil a year. 5 years 100 mil.

this or ill just draft a qb in the 2nd or even 1st since they would be drafting in the mid to late 20's

There's also the possibility of Derrick Carr, Mariota and Jamis Winston being available next season I'm sure any qb would go play there with that OL

Exactly. None of those guys are great, but neither is Dak. Hes easily replaceable.

wow. that guy is average at best. He's a good ''rusher,'' as a qb but that is never a sure thing nowadays. Injury /CTE claims through the roof.

Their backup,White was pretty accurate. He was making some clutch throws on the run. I wouldn't mind having that guy over BeatenHard.
The Cowboys would be stupid to cave in to Elliott. If they just stand their ground, the closer the season is to starting the less leverage he will have. He needs to report this year or risk his FA eligibility pushing an extra year. The worry will be when (and if) he does come back will be be a good team guy and play hard. The Cowboys need a Paarag type badly.

They will cave in when they start 0 and 2. And idk if it will be a worry if he shows up late, he was suspended last season and never missed a beat.

If the report is true, which I'm dubious of, to be fair to Dak, he has a better win/loss record, more game winning drives, better passer rating, completion percentage, more passing yards, scrimmage yards, total TDs than Carson Wentz who makes $32 million per. Maybe that's a by-product of the supporting cast, maybe not. Also he's proven to be more durable.

Jimmy Garoppolo hasn't proven s**t and nobody bats an eye for what he's making.

.
Lol Cowboys were just about eliminated from contention when lady luck gave them a chance to sneak into the wild card. The eagles self destructed and A Smith split his leg in tween'.

Cowboys then beat the Seagulls then proceeded to be eliminated by the Rams.

Isn't Jimmy's salary only 18 mill this year? I'll take that over paying the Dakster 40 mill lol. Jimmy's big year was last year, but the 9ers didn't have the Cowboys cap issues.

When Zeke is not playing, he was bad, average at best and Cowboys werent winning. Having a great RB, great OL will make ANY nfl caliber QB look decent. Add to that a good defense as well.

Hes not bad, hes not Bortles, but he aint 30 mil either. Like others have said, guys like Winston, Marriota, will be FAs, and they wont command 30 mil a year and will be just as good as Dak.
It's cute to have a dallas cowboys thread on the webzone. I should start a Steelers one.
I heard, Daks was turned down for 30 millions and seek for 40 millions. The cowboys fans were suffer with him. They probably refuse to pay him by 40 millions a year. Then now. Daks is reportedly for 30 millions. Wtf?! Daks is changed mind?! Lol
