How can you say Lucas had little to do with the first three movies? When he wrote the story treatment for the whole storyline, directed the first and produced them all. lol You don't know what you're taking about.Originally posted by Aj_hwd954:Originally posted by StOnEy333:Originally posted by Aj_hwd954:Originally posted by jcs:Jerry has 3 SB titles to Jeds SB Loss.Originally posted by smithgdwg:Thank you Jed for not following in Jerry's footsteps.
Jerry deserves as much credit for those nearly 30 year old Super Bowls as George Lucas for creating the Star Wars franchise.
Give it a rest
Wait, what? George Lucas conjured the Star Wars story from his imagination. Jerry bought the team and Jimmy Johnson constructed the roster that won them 3 titles in the 90's and it's been an absolute s**t show ever since with that franchise. How are these things even relatable?
Lucas had little to do with the first three movies besides bringing in the talent that made the first 3 movies the culture icons they are today, before he sold the rights to Disney ( ) Lucas wasn't able to recreate the same magic him and his staff was able to in the late 70s & 80s with the prequels , that and a bunch of s**tty remasters pissed off a lot of long time Stars Wars fans to the point of hating Lucas. Like Lucas, Jerry brought in Jimmy Johnson and he helped turned them from has-been sports team to one of the greatest dynasties in sports. But Jerry's ego got in the way, Jimmy left and Cowboys fans have hated Jerry ever since(which is why I find it laughable when 49ers fans on this forum try to talk about Jerry Jones like he's a dedicated winner when all he's about is making money)

Granted I'm not the biggest Star Wars fan, at least not as much as I was as a young child. but from what I've heard from several dedicated fans, Lucas did more harm than good for his series after the first three films, and they give more credit to the writers, actors, etc who he helped bring together and direct. the sequels, and remasters are the easiest things that come to mind. and selling the rights to Disney where they will milk Star Wars dry

Star Wars aside. Back on topic. Jerry Jones is a tool,Cowboys have been mediocre since the late 90s, his own fanbase hates him, and for all the bashing the York's have taken(deservingly so) their teams have played in way more meaningful games than Jerry's Cowboys in this century

Well, he has a sufficiently large void of ethics. But, wouldn't there be a major ego clash?

Rivera. JJ needs a yes man. Both Urban and Harbs are not. Rivera will do it.

As bad as they are they could still win that division. They lost 7 of their las 10 games with wins over the Eagles, Giants and Lions and yet they still lead that division. WTF

Their division winner gonna be 6-10 lol
They should have division winner forfeit homefield if under .500
Let the highest wildcard team have the home game.

Like this one.
Cowboys can win the division at 6-10, but they hold the tie breaker over both Eagles and Redskins (based on being 4-0 in their division so far), so Eagles and Redskins have to go at least 7-9 to win the division.
