YOU HAVE FAILED US FOR THE LAST TIME, ADMIRAL

That's been the case since JJ, this isn't something new.

The problem with the Cowboys isn't Jerry, McCarthy or Prescott.

The real problem with the Cowboys is the media overrating them after every win to the point that every year has people thinking that the Cowboys are some super team that is going to win the Super Bowl and reality is that their roster has only 2 elite players (CeDee Lamb/Micah Parsons) and the rest are old players past their prime (Tyrone Smith, Zach Martin, Brandin Cooks. Demarcus Lawrence, Stephon Gilmore) and players that are just mid-tier (Dak Prescott, Tony Pollard, Michael Gallup, Jake Ferguson) but the media keeps hyping them because they are America's Team and it's good for business.

When playoff time comes and some team exposes the Cowboys that same media wonders what's wrong with the Cowboys and we repeat this cycle every january.

A lot of this has to do with Jerry Jones and the clout that he has around the league.

Don't you just love the Cowboys and the McCarthy era!!!

"Dak Prescott is the answer and solution going forward"

One of my good friends whose a die hard Dallas fan won't watch Dallas games until they get rid of Dak Prescott. Dude has had it with Prescott already!!!!

And with that said, as a diehard 9ers fan, I hope they re-sign Dak to another 5 year contract!!!! Dak Prescott has been a pretty solid 49er!!!
As a long time 49ers fan. I love what Dallas has going. Hell, keep it up. Weak schedule, get fanbase riled up and disappoint in the Wildcard. 🤣🤣 Jerry is the problem. He wants to control the narrative on everything. And I really enjoy the 49ers beating them every year. 42-10..🤣
The Cowboys and Raiders both get way more coverage than they deserve based on their records from the last 25 years.

Who knows how many more Lombardis would they have gotten if Jerry didn't fire or let go of Jimmy Johnson.

The Cowboys have the largest global fan base by a significant margin. They get clicks.
Jerry Jones seems to be very patient with mediocre HC but get rid of good HC quickly.
Two things:

One, Jerry Jones does not want to give up the spotlight for anything in order to upgrade at HC, including not for a better chance at a Super Bowl title.
Two, Jerry Jones does not want to eat the last year of Mike McCarthy's contract in order to upgrade at HC.

He wants the spotlight and he's a penny-pincher. Good news for Cowboys' opponents and opposing fanbases.

I wasn't around during the 70s and 80s, however I know the Cowboys Steelers Super Bowl rivalry was a huge if not the main reason for the nfls rise in popularity. But that was a very long time ago, I believe their popularity fell off significantly during the 80s . Besides 70s success, them having "the largest global fanbase by a significant margin" has to do with 90s nostalgia and Jerry Jones impact on the NFL as a business . Give him credit where it's due, he knows how to market the hell out of his organization. Without him the Dallas Cowboys would just be another team

Um, they are just another team!
Stupid deal driving up the market price…f**ken IDIOTS!!!
Unless you're in your mid-late 30s or over, chances are you don't remember ever watching a true title contender Dallas Cowboys team that lived up to the media hype

You guys like to clown on Jerry Jones a lot. But.....

* 3 Super Bowl wins
* At the time of it's building his stadium was the 8th wonder of the world.
* Most valuable franchise in sports and the NFL.

What have the Yorks ever done? Zero Super Bowl wins. But they are stacking up losses. An underwhelming stadium in the modern stadium world. Usually thought of as last compared to the other new ones.
