Maybe fined them like dress code or critizing refs. You do anything other than stand on the Anthem, you get fined. $10,00 a game. All money goes to children charities, f**k all the retarded adults, behaving like children.
Protesting is childish...sounds very mature and not childish at all.
idk, there is probably a good % of these players that have experienced themselves or had someone die close to them

I say childish, because they continued to protest on the Anthem when their protest points were made, when they could easily protest out side of the 2-3 minutes Anthem. Like they need to fuel more controversial protest. They are NFL players. They have the recognition of the masses. Speak out at will outside of the Anthem. It would add the same value to the issues WITHOUT the controversy.

Yeah you Eric Reid.

BTW, I don't know WTH Jones been talking about, 'we will not disrespect the Anthem', didn't he knelt on the Anthem

People have burned flags in the past. Only person who made this a big issue this year was Trump because he knows who his voters are. Only fans who made this an issue last year were primarily in white-dominated demographics.

Trust me, for the most part, the issue of thinking kneeling is disrespecting or not disrespecting is a white and black issue. Guess who amplified that further: POTUS.

Yeah, I think the current 'version' of the Anthem protest is more in reaction to POTUS adding his s**t to the fire by his stupid ass comments. It was far from a moderate statement that was required to unite. It reinvigorate the resolve to protest on the Anthem.

My issue is, just do it somewhere else. On their own forum, assembly, rally, etc.

It doesn't bother me as long as they aren't giving a speech or chanting or something during any part of a sporting event. They are simply silently kneeling during the anthem while thousands of people are ordering food, taking a s**t or piss and getting to their seats during the anthem.

Lol

#truth.

I don't see anyone in the bathroom yelling at those on the toilet
even if $10,00.
I have a feeling the cowboys will let Garrett go and hire Harbaugh.

People idolize Jerry because he's a big name in their favorite sport. But -- he's a minnow compared to some of these other owners. Many of these other owners created multibillion dollar, global, publicly traded companies BEFORE they got a new hobby and decided to buy an NFL team.

Jerry Jones can't intimidate a single one of these guys. He's a guppy in comparison.

i can't imagine jerry jones doing that. garrett seems like jerry's yes man
Jerry Jones to Goodell:
"I'm gonna come after you with everything I have," Jones said. Then he mentioned Deflategate. "If you think Bob Kraft came after you hard, Bob Kraft is a p---y compared to what I'm going to do."

Man this makes Jerry out to be power hungry. Some one needs to remind him of Icarus.

No way, someone competent might take over.
JJ is a piece of work...but has also been one of the more influential NFL owners. WRT Harbaugh, I'd say if he leaves Michigan, he'll end up as the Bears' HC. He played in Chicago and it makes sense for him to return there. I think John Fox is done...so, there'll most likely be an opening in the Windy City.

Finally. Good for Jerry Jones!
Damn jerry does whatever the f**k he wants huh lol. I like Craft though, he seems like a cool dude.
This is going to be worth watching. Jones raised the bar a long way in numerous new revenue areas for all owners. His AT%T deal was reported to be "monstrous." Don't recall where I heard that.

He paved the way for a lot of on-site deals that other owners have copied. Hence, Jones will have to be proven to have crapped the bed in a big way before he is booted out of the lounge.

For me, he is part of the Cowboy picture and that means I will forever root against whatever team may be playing against them.
