I don't see them signing another RB...most likely they'll promote Wilson from the PS. So long as Breida & Morris can stay relatively healthy, we're in good shape. It's a shame Mostert got hurt like that...he was really beginning to have a positive impact on our running game. He'll be back next year, though & build on what he's achieved this year.
Damn. He was looking good.
that injury was nasty.
anyone got video?
It was a shame, great play by their guy but no one (except Gregg Williams) wants something like that to happen.

Hope he heals well and it doesn't effect him mentally, I'm pretty sure he'll need a metal rod or plate and hope that doesn't effect him either.

Good luck Raheem, you were proving everyone wrong.
His screen was brutal I felt so bad once I heard him, I said he broke something or tore something. Poor guy at least he got his first touchdown

I saw it once. Don't want to see it again. You cant unsee it. It was just horrible. Don't do it to yourself

This.

There's a time and place for slow-mo replays. This was not one of them.
Bummer. Dude was running hard every chance he got. Get well

What do they do at RB now? Damn Mostert was explosive AF!!!

Bring up Jeff Wilson or bring in a FA or someone off another PS. Would still love to see the 49ers take a shot at Boston Scott from the Saints PS.

Should definitely call up Wilson. Jeff is a very explosive runner perfect for our zone scheme. Dude averaged 6.5 yards per carry in college and 7 yards per catch. 1200+ yards and 16 touchdowns his senior year.

He hits the hole hard, doesn't have the long speed that Breida or Raheem do but he's not slow.

The silver lining (if you can call it that) is at least it was his arm.

Yes, it hurt an insane amount and will take a while to recover from, but he shouldn't lose any of his abilities and I would think should be full go for next year. I thought it was a knee when he first went down.

Plus, if he does have a metal rod in there he can use it like Lex Luger back in the day and be unstoppable.
(there might be 10 people who actually get this reference lol).

It certainly feels like that. A Thursday night game is a guaranteed recipe for injuries but this was the worst one yet. Of course, it's our guy.

Agreed, you can't unseen that.
