I think he's the best RB on the team. Been pulling for him since everyone wanted him cut for Mcnichols. Smh.

I feel like he brings the Fhysicality that our run game lacks in short yardage.

Mostert has become one of my favorite players. I love the way he runs. He produces and he's so smooth. With Coleman injured Mostert has a great opportunity. I think he's going to do well.

In my opinion, Breida is too brittle to be a starter. He repeatedly has to be taken out of games for minor ankle or leg injuries. He's a threat but would be far better as a spot player. Mostert is the most physical and toughest of the RBs and may well be the #1 before you know it...

Dude needs more burn in the back field. He's consistently making plays.

Yeah I like the guy. I was very upset for him last year when he snapped his forearm. I was watching it live and it made me sick to my stomach.
Aside from the obvious pain it caused him on the ground when his forearm snapped it would have been really painful given he had an outstanding game that day and was breaking out.
Yesterday was his first regular season comeback game and he got the highest rushing average of all the RBs. Great effort against a solid defense who shut down Breida and Colman.
It would have been good to see how Wilson would have gone against that defense. But who they going to cut at this stage to promote Wilson?

Can easily take the roll as RB2 until Coleman gets back. Although i like Wilson, promoting him to the roster would need a corresponding roster move. I mean ideally, one of our 4 TEs will likely be cut but Kyle kept 4 for a reason. More Mostert PLZ!

He was doing great until that horrific forearm injury. But, it does not seem to have slowed him down or affected him one bit.

I hope it's made him stronger. I am looking forward to him gashing the Bungles defense.Originally posted by wysiwyg:Originally posted by Giedi:Originally posted by Lurker:Mostert has become one of my favorite players. IMO he's faster, but not the brick TD was.
But, I kind of see what you mean. He seems to have that TD hesitation/stutter step where's he gearing up to run someone over.

He's a smaller back who plays big. I like especially like seeing him gash in the fourth when the oppo D is gassed.

Amazing stat about Mostert is he doesn't go down easily. Of the 40 yards gained vs. the Bucks, he amassed 38 of them after the first hit. That tells me his blocking wasn't the best but he never goes down with the first hit. Punishing runner who gets better as the game goes along. Give him 20 carries and he'll be the #1 back.
