If Coleman had been healthy I doubt Mostert would have seen the field again. Good thing he did.
Mostert looked like he was devastated when he fumbled. I like seeing that. Shows he cares.
Love his burst but he scares me every time he carries the ball, I think Wilson earned himself more carries honestly

Second one was all Mostert.
Needs to be more patient. Let the defense do the all gas no brakes.

Fumbles are one of his weaknesses. But that last fumble, I dont know what else he could have done. He had two arms around the ball and the defender just hit his arms in the right spot.
Mostert is #11 in rushing, Breida is #8. BOTH are on a pace for over 1000 yards. He came back after the fumble he lost to rack up 79 yards and his last couple of runs for first downs secured our win. Those who attack him are NOT fans. They are simply NEGATIVE NELLIES. Garoppolo fumbled once and his two interceptions were as a result of Breida dropping a pass and Pettis dropping a pass. The lost fumble was Mostert's first of the season. Chill!

wilson likes to fumble as well.
I still think Mostert should be getting the bulk of the carries. He seems to be able to hit the holes quicker and burst through them so fast that he's always falling a couple yards forward when tackled.

he's a north and south downhill runner. Breida is shifty and agile, making guys miss running from west to east. combination of both is nice

Ah...no.

Dude had pretty much two fumbles in that game even if they're not giving the pitch to him in the stat sheet. He has to show he can secure the ball to somehow get the bulk of the carries.

Not to mention Breida is averaging 5.5 YPC...why are we taking the ball away from him?
Mostert seems to run upright quite a lot and, not that he can't get low, it's just that when he does, he always seems to be right at the level where the ball gets punched out. Of all the runners, he seems to take the most vicious shots all the time. Maybe he needs to start practicing hurdling defenders that try to cut him down low?
Gotta keep up that 1 fumble per 20 carries pace.

Fumbles must be fixed but he explodes the fastest through the line. On the stretch runs, he also is able to turn the corner more often and with more ease due to that speed.

This is what I see when Mostert carries the ball. Explodes downhill with ease.

Agree

And the rotation keeps them fresh.

Plus having 3quality RB is a great problem considering how prolific injuries are in the league.
