Breida was an UDFA & he's the #1RB
IT'S really Shanny.. everyone sees how good this guy can be, it makes you wonder why he's holding him back??

Hasn't every back on the roster except Wilson had 100 yard games? I think this is more based on matchup than anything
it's Shanny's impatient to get a long scoring drive.. for some reason, he seems to want to score on a RUSH... I've yet to see us have a simple nice long drive...

There are times that his play calling becomes a head scratcher ... you see our RBs having a good series, then he calls a stupid play that would have get us in 2nd long situation..
Shannahan's aggressiveness in his playcalling is the reason were here. It's also the reason why our run game is good. Im just glad were getting a taste of some good compettion right before the playoffs. Its like were getting stronger just in time for a super bowl run. Our 4th string back just had a 150 yd game... wow. Im very pleased considering how badly he was injured last year. Im genuinely happy for the guy.

You're clueless if you call RAHEEM MOSTERT "our 4th string RB". On Sept. 11, as an add-on to my 49ers Webzone article:
"Is it FINALLY Breakout Time for RAHEEM MOSTERT?",
500 fans responded to a poll entitled: "Will RAHEEM MOSTERT be the next great 49er RB?".
Of that 500, 69% said YES. Now it's up to SHANAHAN to recognize what the fans did almost 3 months ago..;

When Breida returns (if and when he does), Mostert should be #1, followed by Breida, then Wilson. Coleman is slower than Mostert and indecisive when hitting the line. Mostert wastes no time hitting the hole and has a nasty stiff arm. He is clearly our best RB and it's almost playoff time. Give him the reps now. This is his first full season as an RB!

He has had ONE FUMBLE. Give it a rest. He has had only 3 in his career. To understand how stupid your comment is you should know that in 1984 when we went 18-1, WENDELL TYLER ran for 1262 yards and caught passes for another 262 with 7 TDs. HE FUMBLED 13 TIMES! and made the Pro Bowl. Everything is relative in your mind...
I love Breida and Mostert are worth more than Coleman and McKinnon! Coleman should give the moneys to Mostert. Coleman is embarrassed to earns alot $$$ more than Monstert!

Always thought he was the best RB on the team tbh
Breida #1, Mostert #2, Wilson #3, Coleman #4.

Breida is brittle. He misses half the games due to leg injuries. You can't rely on him to be available every week. MOSTERT is 15 lbs heavier, a little faster, and much tougher to bring down. He's also a better pass protector and a Pro Bowl gunner on special teams. You need to reconsider.

Mostert has 92 carries and needs 8 more to join this elite group: Here are the running backs who have averaged 5.9 yards carry on at least 100 attempts since 1970:

2017: Alvin Kamara, Saints, 6.1 (120 carries)

2012: Adrian Peterson, Vikings, 6.0 (348 carries)

2012: C.J. Spiller, Bills, 6.0 (207 carries)

2010: Jamaal Charles, Chiefs, 6.4 (230 carries)

2009: Jamaal Charles, Chiefs, 5.9 (190 carries)

2009: Felix Jones, Cowboys, 5.9 (116 carries)

2007: Jerious Norwood, Falcons, 6.0 (103 carries)

1997: Barry Sanders, Lions, 6.1 (335 carries)

1984: Hokie Gajan, Saints, 6.0 (102 carries)

1978: Ted McKnight, Chiefs, 6.0 (104 carries)

1973: O.J. Simpson, Bills, 6.0 (332 carries)

1973: Mercury Morris, Dolphins, 6.4 (149 carries)

And health. One or more of them is always hurt.

Gtfo. Nothing worse than know it all Internet forum guy. So, should I trust Kyle Shanahan or some unknown on a fan forum that goes by frenchtoast. That is a tough one.

Simma down. I trust Shanny over what fans and their armchair mentality think.
