Something I've noticed about Breida is that when he goes down face first, he keeps his heels up and guys constantly land on them and he gets up from the pile limping. Dude needs to learn how to go down so his ankles aren't smashed and twisted. It sounds weird but like with Tartt turning sideways to tackle and naturally takeing a knee to the rib cage or defenders tackling with their forearms and breaking them, players need to learn proper form and technique and even how and when to go down.

Good post. I agree on Breida. How can you not like the guy, but there is no way he can be relied upon to be the starter unless he figures out how to stay healthy. Coleman is way inconsistent and Mostert is a star developing right before our eyes. This is his FIRST full season as an RB and if it hasn't been impressive, I must be blind.

Well when Breida is healthy I really like that 1-2 combo with mostert. I feel like we spend a lot of the cap on FA RBs when we had all we needed in-house.

How do you figure out how to stay healthy? Is there some magic formula? You don't have a lot of control over when or if you get injured.

I didn't believe your new post could out do your previous dumb post but it did. You blamed MOSTERT for the loss!!! I highly recommend therapy...

Gtfo. Nothing worse than know it all Internet forum guy. So, should I trust Kyle Shanahan or some unknown on a fan forum that goes by frenchtoast. That is a tough one.

Good post!
Mostert is so smooth when he runs.
Nate Burleson on GMF talking about giving Mostert a nickname if he balls out agains NO. Didnt like any of the names he put up. How about "OoRah", after the Marine Battle Cry
I can hear it being shouted in the crowd after heem breaks off a big play

yup, he's so fun to watch

side note..i love the way kyle rotates his backs. given some of that is just due to injury, but still. it keeps these guys fresh.
As a teen he had the choice to become a pro-surfer or stick with football. Glad he chose the latter.

Chris Berman would probably call him Ketchup and Mostert.

Breida is our best running back, he just can't stay healthy.

Yeah, he's our best back... Coleman is hurt or something but him and mostert are equals in my eyes. Coleman hasn't been a game changer in the passing game as advertised

it's Shanny's impatient to get a long scoring drive.. for some reason, he seems to want to score on a RUSH... I've yet to see us have a simple nice long drive...

There are times that his play calling becomes a head scratcher ... you see our RBs having a good series, then he calls a stupid play that would have get us in 2nd long situation..

Last 3 games :

3rd quarter VS Baltimore : 14 play drive that ate up 8 minutes and 22 seconds and resulted in a game tying FG.

+ We had a 10 play 6:31 drive vs GB for a TD
+ We had an 11 play 4:51 drive vs AZ for a FG
+ We had a 10 play 5:40 drive vs AZ for a TD
