pretty sure he was an undrafted FA for us. he popped up on my madden roster auto fill about 4 years ago. Thought he was just a made up player.

Posting on Niner boards with other Faithful was a lot of fun when the 49ers were in the City. Comments like the one above show the intellect and football knowledge of today's fair-weather fans. It's very sad...

Raheem made the Mostert of his opportunities in Week 6. Do you see him having a legit shot at staying the No. 2 #49ers runner?

And when should D.J. Jones see more field time?

No other team in the nfl would have mostert as their rb2
Well, he is our rb3.
Not this week
You can't say that no other team would have him as their rb2 when we didn't either. It makes no sense. Hence my rb3 comment. But, like us, most teams would be happy to throw him out there with the injury bug biting. He had a reasonable game imo.
When I made my post during that game. Mostert was the clear number 2 while Morris didn't get a single carry against the packers. He was our rb2 for that game and might even be moving forward. Morris wasn't hurt. Unless your point is that he's the number 3 behind Jet and Breida.

Last week Mostert's pleas to Shanahan were finally heard. Shanny told him they would compete for the #2 spot (Mostert and Morris) and later said it wasn't even close. Mostert dominated the competition. Today we learned a little more about Raheem: MOSTERT WINS PERRY/YONAMINE AWARD FOR 2018.
The award, which was voted on by Mostert's teammates and coaches, is presented to the 49ers player who is a unifier and leader in the locker room, on the field, and in the community. The 49ers Foundation will make a $10,000 donation to Mostert's charity of choice, the Melanoma Research Foundation.

I was really disappointed for him when he fumbled on the first carry subbing for Breida. Thought he wouldn't recovered in Kyle's eyes. Kudos to Shanny in giving Mostert another chance. And kudos to Mostert for not wilting away after that fumble

Yes. Jet then Breida.

Shanahan handled that perfectly. Now Witherspoon, on the other side, not so much.

we need to keep this guy, he's a star in the making if we can FEATURE him more...
the more he runs, the more he reminds me of Terrell Davis under the same offensive scheme..
