Any time we do anything that can be remotely construed as a cost cutting move either the "cheap Yorks" or Parage gets brought up. Clearly Jose is inferring that ol Kiefer is being added as a replacement for the soon to be departed Tomlinson.

they will let him walk, obviously. They're gonna play Banks at that spot, even if he is not any good. You need to get what you can out of your 2nd round pick. It was asinine that he did not play much at all

It was asinine, but why did it go down that way? If Banks wasn't even good enough to beat out Brunskill, how would he be a suitable replacement for Tomlinson?

they'll give him a shot. He didn't get a legitimate shot last year. Its just like the Trey and Jimmy thing. Kyle wants his veterans to start on the offense that know what they're doing because he is so paranoid if the play call doesn't go 100% the way he wants it to go.

Anyways, I am not worried about the coaching. Laken was a draft bust in Detroit. We'll give Banks every opportunity to succeed. And if he still doesnt crack the starting line up, then yea, I guess hes a bust. But I think its too early to call right now for me.

Wait Banks is a bust after 1yr? WOW, people said Aiyuk was a bust early in the season, then he became a very good player, can't write someone off after 1yr or 2yrs.
