I concur. Trey can escape pressure and make up for some of the drop off in pass pro but we can't always rely on our pass rush essentially helping our average corners look better against great qbs and even better wrs

I think it has to happen or else we can't be players in free agency so we are going to take less than we would like imo. Possibly a 3rd rounder and another later pick.

What about Bradley Bozeman if LT walks?could fill in at LG for a year and then move to C once Mack retires. Very good, versatile player who's only 27

I am ok with letting players like Laken and DJ go if they are planning on using the money elsewhere. For example they can't afford Laken because they want to sign JC Jackson or Gilmore. Then I am find with it. But if they are not going to re-sign him and then also decide to not do anything at all, or decide to go shopping at the dollar store, Then no that would be dumb.

I would hope that they can sign Jackson or Gilmore and then let LT go.

Of the three, my priority is Tomlinson, then Jackson, then Gilmore. With the question marks at RG and Center, the last thing we want is to lose Tomlinson.
