That being said, I know Shanny and Lynch aren't just gambling and throwing picks around. They see something in him.
It's a 5th in 2 years and we're almost certainly going to acquire another draft pick in that range by that point. Either by trades this year or next or comp picks. Either way, it's something that doesn't worry me at all. Late round picks are always fairly easy for teams to acquire. If we end up with a dearth of talent in one position, you can always trade a guy for a late round pick.
