Yeah, Asa blows! I would love to get a veteran CB, at least, better than Reaser and no doubt we badly need a real veteran ILB over Brock Coyle in case Foster or Bowman go down. S? Hmmmm...yeah. I'm just guestimating.

I thought jon baldwin would be that big bodied wide out. yep. if i were gm, we would have marlon moore on one side and jon baldwin on another side with brandon thomas paving the way for reggie bush who i actually liked better than hyde

Lol.

Is that you Baalke?

Dude was Marcus Martin bad, and worse. People are slamming KC for giving up a 5th rounder for a lineman who was awful at every spot Cleveland tried him at.

I actually feel better about Tomlinson than Erving who is Quilted Northern soft.

This x a million

Low risk high reward pick up. Would not suprise me if he starts over Beadles or Fusco week 1

The funny part is Kyle would have made that work!

Yeah, you do man up when "wrong." cciowa does man up.

Enjoy the game!

Nothing would have made Baldwin work.

BRB....6'5" and getting out leaped by a 5'8" cornerback.

Might be Mayhew influence trying to justify a player he drafted that he might have "missed on."

holy cows.. brandon thomas. there was a guy who i thought would replace lupati and be a rock for us

It was total homer delusion around here that thought an injured, once borderline first round RT prospect would replace an elite left guard like Iupati. Still disappointing he couldn't have been a decent starter though

For the money Iupati got paid, the Cards can have him. He still sucks as a pass blocker and has been responsible for giving up some monster hits on Palmer. Best run blocker in football, lousy pass blocker, dude could be a future HOFer if he just found a happy medium.

No doubt, but I think injuries definitely brought down his ceiling overtime. Agree we made the right choice not resigning him. But I still remember the posts around here acting like Thomas' hypothetical pass blocking ability made him a lock to replace and even be better than Iupati. Good grief between him and Tank being Justin Smith's heir replacement at 3-tech we were drinking some serious Baalke Kool-Aid. Live and learn, which is why I'm staying very low with my expectations for Tomlinson here

Who said Kyle would use him as a receiver? LOL
Falcons acquired G/T Ty Sambrailo from the Broncos in exchange for a 2018 fifth-round pick.
A 2015 second-rounder, Sambrailo proved to be a massive bust in Denver. He opened 2015 as the starting left tackle but was abused so bad and benched after Week 3. He didn't prove to be any better at right tackle in 2016. Sambrailo could eventually be tried at right guard in Atlanta. The Falcons are set at their tackle spots with LT Jake Matthews and RT Ryan Schraeder.

Seems like the high draft pick oline "busts" are being traded for 5ths
