He was a first round pick? I thought guards were the easiest position to analyze and draft for.

Don't forget, these guys don't do the obvious. They somehow focused on Reuben after getting Solly and a couple good picks, and ...somehow, he was still there at #31. That shouldn't have happened...but it did. Now some are starting to realize just what kind of coup john and kyle pulled off. So if they start Laken...i won't be surprised. It would be the unexpected. And just because they start him, if he flops, they can always bring in Fusco...unless they bring in Magnus.

I don't understand why Shanahan is not pushing for bring here a guy like John Greco. Despite his lame duck season, he is an upgrade compared to our current guards together plus he already knows his offensive system so there's no need to be inactive for a week and study the playbook.
