Very solid. Less than 3 weeks on the team and already an improvement over Beadles

Well he's a former first round pick

Agree, very solid for being thrown in like that.
he did pretty well IMO. Better than beatle and kilgore.
I liked him. Seattle's front 7 is elite.

Let's keep starting him. Let the man grow.
Yeah I was never high on Kilgore and fusco, those two positions need upgraded next year. Laken seems decent
MUCH better than Beadles
I've told you guys that KILGORE is nothing but a backup...
Encouraged by this start from him. Looks serviceable, but you can see the talent that got him drafted high, and he's got upside. When Josh Garnett is back, that gives us two guys to grow with. I still want to see us pick up a few o-lineman to develop next year, but at least Tomlinson/Garnett/Brown gives us a bit of a young core to build on.

Agreed. Also I think they need to think about either drafting Staley's replacement in the next couple years or seeing if Brown can be moved to LT. I don't see Staley still being here in two years.

Yes on this. My vision was always to draft a high upside development tackle, and start him at guard for a few years until Staley moves on. Would still be good to do that, even if they are a versatile backup.

Leave Trent at RT. The hand and footwork is completely different when you switch. It's like telling an orthodox boxer to fight southpaw. This ain't Madden.

Niners immediate need is at Center right now and Shanny will most likely look to getting a vet in there to be the brains up front. I'm hoping we go after Weston Richburg or Corey Linsley.

Perhaps we get lucky and find a starter in day 2 of the draft at LT.

Totally agree on the pressing neee at Center. It's a huge part of Kyle's offense. Look what Alex Mack did for ATL when he showed up.

yep, ive mentioned richburg in a few threads about improving our O-line next year. He just makes the most sense. One of the best Cs in the league and Giants probably wont have money to resign him. He should be our offseason FA priority

He did good. Now we have to find a replacement for Kilgore.
