OLT is still the premium position because it's the blind side, however, good defenses have guys that they can move around to take advantage of a RT that may not be as adept at pass pro.
Leave Brown where he is and draft a replacement for Staley. I'm worried about him. He doesn't seem to have quite the quickness he did in the past. Shanahan also noted that he has some "wear and tear" on his knees. That is a tell-tale sign as far as I'm concerned. Let's hope he can get us through this season.
Yeah, Staley gave up 2 sacks. One to Bennett and one to Clark on a near safety. He took the outside guy and let the inside guy come clean. He also got beat badly inside by Richardson that decapitated Hoyer and almost took out Trenton Brown. How did he get an 86.8 grade? These PFF grades are a damn joke.
That said, the errors seemed more mental than physical and may have been miscommunication with having a new LG next to him.
