Agree.

OLT is still the premium position because it's the blind side, however, good defenses have guys that they can move around to take advantage of a RT that may not be as adept at pass pro.

Leave Brown where he is and draft a replacement for Staley. I'm worried about him. He doesn't seem to have quite the quickness he did in the past. Shanahan also noted that he has some "wear and tear" on his knees. That is a tell-tale sign as far as I'm concerned. Let's hope he can get us through this season.

Yeah, Staley gave up 2 sacks. One to Bennett and one to Clark on a near safety. He took the outside guy and let the inside guy come clean. He also got beat badly inside by Richardson that decapitated Hoyer and almost took out Trenton Brown. How did he get an 86.8 grade? These PFF grades are a damn joke.

That said, the errors seemed more mental than physical and may have been miscommunication with having a new LG next to him.
On that play for the near sack, it was on Kilgore. He must've called a slide the wrong way - the OL slid away from the blitz and after the play Staley turned to him and was pointing over on that side with both arms out. Sure signs of a bad center call.

Here's the pic so no one can say, "pics or it didn't happen" lol.

I still can't believe Beadles is so bad he was overtaken by this guy after being on the team for literally two weeks. That's major suck right there.

Yeah Beadles was historically bad

Haha...nice. Question: even if the wrong slide was called, doesn't the T always cover the inside player vs. outside?

Kilgore looks like a sleeper too...just not in the way you mean

Bring Zuttah back!!!

There must be something wrong with Zuttah though that our FO isnt releasing. Even the ravens took him back and then days later said...NOPE.

Something is wrong with Zuttah. He is one of our biggest setbacks on OLine. I bet no one knew he would have lost that much passion in an off season. We could've came after another player...

It definitely was a setback. I remember Bubba Paris getting killed by Rookie Chris Dolman in the playoffs and next year we got Harris Barton. (If I remember correctly) anyway it was amazing that a guy like Paris could get so bad in one year. Same with Zuttah, even the Ravens cut him after signing him to a new deal *after* we cut him. But I like Magnuson and Laken so far. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping they keep Hoyer upright. BeatHard is just too raw to play right now.
How did you all thought he looked last night?

Not even mad about that. He's only been here weeks and doing better then Beadles. He gets a pass because it's freaking Aaron Donald
