There has been complaints about the OL this year. But for my money it is good as it has been this decade.
I don't think we have anyone starting as bad as:
Even some of our best Boone, Iupati and Snyder weren't good enough to keep. And Baalke thought we were good for the future with Joe Looney and Brandon Thomas. At least the current regime doesn't sit pat. They have at least brought in some veterans. The only one I can remember Baalke getting is Goodwin.
I don't think we have anyone starting as bad as:
- Jonathan Martin
- Jordan Devey
- Marcus Martin
- Erik Pears
- Chilo Rachal

For a fifth round pick, he's not doing that bad. Donald did beat him several times, but he's just a placeholder until the 49ers get better interior linemen.
