I think we got fleeced big time. The Pats never would have traded this guy if they thought he could be Tom Brady's replacement.
But I'm willing to give Shanny the benefit of the doubt. The guy knows QB's as well as anyone. If he thinks Jimmy G. can be "the guy," so be it.

The Browns drafted Manziel instead.
I was just about to ask, did KS like Jimmy?

Did they sign him to a long term deal? Or it's a waste of a draft pick!

You could.

Cousins wasn't a sure thing. I like the aggressive move to try and go for a franchise QB.

Gutsy move.
Do not play him this year and get him injured needlessly.

Obviously they don't just let him walk. They'll franchise him at the very least
Damn a 2nd round pick??? That's desperation (33 or 34). FO and management os trying to please the ticket holders and fan base with this move. On the surface it's a good move, but he has no O-Line to protect him, one good WR, a above average RB and a bunch of guys who can't catch. With al the injuries on defense, our offense will have to be scoring 30 plus to win a game, which will be unlikely to happen. I still want us to get a Rosen or Darnold in the next draft.
