All I see is a good looking dude getting hit a lot.

Yup, and think that's the main reason #9 was a OL pick.

I'm hoping Kyle will make defenses pay, if they try to blitz Jimmy GQ. Get either Taylor or Pettis in space and watch them go all the way to the end zone.

Totally.

OldNinerDude was looking for evidence of Jimmy G getting abused, here it is...in his 'highlights.'

Yeah, folks on here have a short memory. I swear Jimmy's good looks provided an aura around him to absorb some of those hits.

Our oline didn't get better when Jimmy G took the reigns. He made them look better with his quick release. We readily admit that Jimmy made everyone else better, but when it comes to the oline, some of you think they were actually ballers. 75% of that line was trash.

Seriously! I love Richburg coming in...praying Cooper and Garnett can hold up well.

Ha, reading some Boston article about the final tally from the Jimmy G trade. This was compiled after the draft and is more fun than anything:

Us: Jimmy G

Pats: 2nd rd pick (#43 overall) which turned into:
  • Cornerback Duke Dawson
  • Linebacker Christian Sam
  • 2019 second-round pick from Chicago
  • 2019 third-round pick from Detroit

Yeah, Hoodie has traded 68 times in his career with the Pats. LOL. ShanaLynch are like the anti-Hoodie right now. They took that Brown pick and moved up to get Pettis.

Wow, it looks like they really think Brady will play till his mid forties. Wow!

Or maybe BB just said f**k it, he wanted to keep Jimmy and Kraft said trade his ass. So now he's like, well good luck with finding a QB after Tom is done

Bill is trying to trade that 2nd as much as possible so there's no direct correlation on how bad he got raped by Lynch lol.

I agree. I think BB is somebody who would do that. I'm pretty sure after Tom is done, that franchise is going to tank. They've used up a lot of their future luck by making so many super bowls. Same as us. We haven't won a super bowl since '94.

Hey Geidi I remember you schooling me on the west coast offense back when I use to post on the 49ers message boards. I was just a teen back then, you educated me on how the WCO wasn't just a deep passing game

In my defense, when I was younger, all the highlights of the 49ers were Montana/Young throwing deep to Rice

That is an impressive haul. Wow
Lynch needs to take notes.

How many more drafts picks does he need?

Enough to trade way up in the draft next year to get a QB he wants?

So you don't think that's a great strategy to push picks to 2019? I think that is great. Gives ammo to grab a pass rusher or whoever else we would need..

Or do you feel this roster is complete and no upgrades are needed?
I don't.

I think the Pats are a franchise you should model your organization around.

Y'all gotta remember Trent Brown missed what last 3-4 games? Didn't Gilliam wind up on IR too? McGlinchey along with other personnel additions will be a lovely boost. Who played RT in front of Jimmy? Effing Beadles and Magnuson? Lol.

We are loaded with quick receivers for a QB with a super accurate quick release on anything under 30 yards.
