Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, Los Angeles Rams

Can Jimmy throw a checkdown to a rb in the flat? Cuz CJ and Hoyer couldn't lol
Apparently the Browns had a deal in place with Cincy for AJ McCarron forget this....a 2nd and 3rd round pick but they forgot to submit the paper work in time. Lol

That organization is such a joke.

The most ignored narrative is that Bill didn't really wanna lose Garoppolo, the exit letter was very emphatic. In fact scouts believed Jimmy could've taken Brady's job this season amidst the early losses, and inconsistent play from Brady. Jimmy outplayed Brady during his first two preseason starts this season, which is why New England refused to trade him at that time for even 2 1st rounders.

What's really telling is that unlike New England's past (overhyped) QB trades, Belichick traded Jimmy out of the entire conference. That's a firm sign Bill feared this kid's ceiling/team intelligence enough to not let him dawn a Jets, or Broncos uniform in FA next year.

BB better cross his fingers and toes that Brady doesn't suffer a major injury

Try again: #Browns sent signed doc to #Bengals to sign and send to league, but #Bengals sent doc to #NFL only signed by them

I doubt he starts any time soon. I wonder if he starts at all this year while BeatHard gains experience as part of our elegant tank.

The good news is he has been in a real pro offense for years now.

You're all over it. Kyle stated exactly that. The concepts are very similar and his biggest challenge will be in terminology and relaying, reciting the plays.

I'm gonna say that an affirmative.....although it's been a limit regular season sample size he's shown to be a full functioning pro QB that will have no problem going through progressions. He's biggest thing now is getting the WCO verbiage down. Like i mentioned above the good news is he's already been subjected to the main WCO concepts.

If that's the case if I'm the bengals I call other teams first if they're interested in mccarron and trade him to the other team after the browns wanna play stupid and throw me under the bus.
I can't believe espn is downplaying how this was a desperation trade on New England. They took what they could cause they took too much time evaluatiing Tom's future. We only coughed up 1/2 second rounders we'll just get back from trading out anyways.

John Lynch is a patient genius.

This trade is all sorts of win......we get a pro game trained QB from a winning organization that was their hand picked successor. Make no mistake about that, this was their heir apparent and we got him for a second round pick(well basically a low first considering how bad we are).

This is the potential franchise altering move we've been waiting for. Time will tell.

I know I'll regret this...but why do you say that?

He just says we'll see when asked if wants he to stay beyond the season.

That does not sound good

I don't think he meant to say that. He supposedly couldn't wait to get on the plane to SF.
With Winter coming in New England? I couldn't wait either
