This remains to be seen.

Considering it took over a year for Matt Ryan to learn Shanahan's offense, and Garoppolo picked most of it up in a few weeks, id say theres a pretty good chance Garoppolo is better than Matt Ryan. Especially since it looks like Matt Ryan the MVP caliber QB was a Shanahan related anomaly.

New year man, i expect nothing. He is the key though and I believe will play very well. I'm being very modest and hoping for a .500 season.

Yeah, and I think even Kyle was shocked at how quickly Jimmy picked it up and was effective. Even though he didn't know 90% of the playbook.

So then you are expecting something.

He's definitely one beast of a RB (we're talking first string talent here)... Kelly might have saved his job had he let Kap loose

Expecting and hoping are 2 different things

Lets not forget all the weapons Ryan had, i.e. JULIO JONES
Historically, Kyle Shanahans QBs have seen a huge bump in production in year two because they finally learned the system.

I think people underestimate how valuable that half season was last year. It gave him a chance to not only learn part of the system, but gain experience within it and player chemistry (with players and kyle).

I expect a huge bump in production, we moved the ball like crazy with Jimmy in but we couldn't score touchdowns. I think that will change this year.

All Jimmy had was Goodwin, Garcon went down before Jimmy saw the field and still produced big time. This guy is incredible. Give this guy a defense and he'll dominate in the playoffs.

And when the time comes, let's hope his RB blocks the blitzing LB in the championship game.
Imagine we play out of our minds and Jimmy gets 5k?

Our RBs would have to go bananas probably.. With juice and jet, hey it could happen. I'll be okay if teams "let us off the hook"

On paper, this team really resembles offensively, I think, the '94 Niners. Unfortuantely this year's defensive side (on paper)doesn't have a Ricky Jackson or Richard Dent. On the numbers side, I don't think it's outside the realm of possiblity for Jimmy to put up 5k, specially if we can't stop anybody on defense.
