What he should have said was Ramsey did his job and the rest of the defense got sliced up

Everything else required either a pinpoint throw versus man, or a coverage read versus zone.

Agreed. Jalen was just pisses cause Jimmy placed a perfect ball to Goodwin when he was in man coverage while under pressure 18 yards downfield.

For real. First dropback of the game Goodwin vs Ramsey). There's nothing scheme about this. It's a laser throw into man coverage. (your cutups)

Lol. So in Jacksonville it doesn't count when you throw to the TE?

Sounds good to me...dude lead the league in ypa. He's not incapable of throwing the ball downfield.

Its a legitimate concern.

Go watch his college film...plently of arm and accuracy on deep balls. Dude came into a whole new team halfway thru a season. That stuff takes time.

It's not like he doesn't have the arm strength for it...like I said there's plently of deep ball throws made in college and in NE (first TD was a deep ball)

Please let defenses try to take away the underneath throws, he will connect on some deep balls...as long as it's not to Carlos Hyde down field (that was a big boy throw with Clowney coming unblocked smashing into him)

THL you got the clip of the deep ball throw to Hyde from the Texans game?? I can't upload it because tinypic doesn't work on mobile for whatever reason.

That was a big boy throw, Clowney coming in untouched and he dropped it right in Hyde's hands only for him to go full retard...had Hyde in fantasy that week

You can't really go off the college film because the ball is smaller in college.

But I digress, football is a game.
Jimmy is a game player.

Lol stop it
If Bortles doesn't throw 3 picks, we probably lose that game. Also, if the Titans are able to gain 1 yard on 3rd down late in the game, we probably lose that game too. The 5-0 record is touted a lot, but a lot of those wins were decided by things outside of his control.

If any one person deserves credit for the 5-0 record, it's Shanahan. He is the one that kept the team together and it's his scheme that allowed JG to be successful. If JG had been traded to the Browns, he'd be out of the league in a few years.

I'm happy we have Shanahan as our HC. I'm happy we have Beathard, his hand-picked QB and the one he traded up to get, in the wings in case Jimmy falters.

Again go watch his college film plenty of deep ball success. Let's get a full season with jimmy knowing who he's throwing the ball to and has some sort of understanding of the system before saying he's incapable of throw the ball 40+ yards downfield.

An NFL football will measure 11" long with a 22" circumference at the midway point. Unless it is being used by the Patriots (joke Pats fans, joke), the air pressure should be between 12-1/2 psi and 13-1/2 psi. A college ball (D1) will be just slightly smaller (1/2" in length and 1" circumference).
